Ensure the security and fire safety of oil depots, bulk storage facilities, fuel terminals, gas stations, and LPG outlets, a weekly inspection must be conducted at each gas station, covering fire prevention measures, storage integrity, and emergency response readiness. Alongside these inspections, personnel shall identify and maintain an updated inventory of all critical fuel facilities, and prepare contingency plans specifically for areas where long queues or civil disturbances may arise due to fuel supply disruptions. Monitoring and inspection of fuel storage and retail facilities must also be carried out regularly to identify and report any instances of hoarding, unnecessary stockpiling, or other unlawful practices. Finally, it is essential to maintain continuous situational awareness by closely monitoring the peace and order situation and any public safety concerns linked to ongoing oil price increases, adjusting response strategies as needed.
