EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE
BFP Sinuyak Fire Sub-Station headed by acting Sub-Station Commander, SFO1 Lloyd C Pongan, with supervision of FINSP RICHARD A PARAME Acting Municipal Fire Marshal KMFS, responded to a medical emergency at Barangay Sinuyak, Katipunan, ZDN. 0806H-A walk-in patient arrived at the station for the 2nd time for multiple wounds and abrasions on the left knee, right side of the abdomen, right arm, and left side of the face. 0808H -The patient was assisted and positioned comfortably. Initial first aid was provided by cleansing the wounds and abrasions with normal saline, applying antiseptic solution, and placing sterile dressings. Gentle pressure was applied to control the bleeding on the left knee. 0810H- Vital signs were taken and recorded as follows: BP 120/80 mmHg, PR 90 bpm, RR 19cpm, Temp 36.7°C. Appropriate first aid treatment was continued. 0812H-The patient remained conscious and stable but declined transport to the nearest medical facility.0815H- After receiving medical assistance, the patient voluntarily left the station.

Ensure the security and fire safety of oil depots, bulk storage facilities, fuel terminals, gas stations, and LPG outlets, a weekly inspection must be conducted at each gas station, covering fire prevention measures, storage integrity, and emergency response readiness. Alongside these inspections, personnel shall identify and maintain an updated inventory of all critical fuel facilities, and prepare contingency plans specifically for areas where long queues or civil disturbances may arise due to fuel supply disruptions. Monitoring and inspection of fuel storage and retail facilities must also be carried out regularly to identify and report any instances of hoarding, unnecessary stockpiling, or other unlawful practices. Finally, it is essential to maintain continuous situational awareness by closely monitoring the peace and order situation and any public safety concerns linked to ongoing oil price increases, adjusting response strategies as needed.

The construction activities have placed additional strain on the local water sources, making it necessary to implement a systematic distribution of water to prevent shortages and maintain the health and sanitation of the affected community. The water rationing will be carried out on a scheduled basis, prioritizing households, the construction site, and essential community facilities, while coordination with local barangay officials and residents will be maintained to ensure fair and efficient distribution throughout the duration of the public market construction project.
