We had so much fun putting the "Learn, Play and Grow Together" theme into action. 🧑‍🏫From arts and crafts to outdoor games, the kids got to enjoy every stage of learning through hands-on activities led by Teacher Romelie.

A special shoutout to all the parents and guests who joined in on the fun - your support means so much to helping spark curiosity and joy of discovery in these young minds.

🚫Bawal 'yan sa Safe Spaces Act! Alamin ang batas para lahat tayo, ligtas.

Ayon sa Safe Spaces Act, mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang gender-based sexual harassment sa kahit ano amang anyo o paraan. Ito ay hindi lamang limitado sa mga pampublikong lugar, kundi kasama rin ang mga online platforms, mga institusyon ng edukasyon, at iba pa.

Layunin ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Kauswagan na ipatupad ang karapatan ng bawat mamamayan na magkaroon ng ligtas at desenteng lugar, anuman ang kasarian o sekswal na oryentasyon.

Kung ikaw ay mayroong kakilala na nakaranas ng anumang uri ng pang-aabuso, maaring ireport ang insidente sa nararapat na awtoridad. Maaari lumapit sa mga opisyal ng barangay, lokal na pamahalaan, MSWD (Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office), o sa PNP (Philippine National Police).

R.A. 7160 (An Act Providing for a Local Government Code of 1991)
SECTION 17. (b) (1) (ii) states that “For Barangay: Health and social welfare services which include maintenance of barangay health center and day-care center”.

Likewise, R.A. 10410 (The Early Years Act of 2013)
Section 7. (b) Responsibilities of Local Government Units stipulates that “ Local government units (LGUs) shall include allocations from their Special Education Fund (SEF) and Gender and Development (GAD) Fund in addition to other local funds to be utilized for the following purposes:”
(1) Support the implementation of their ECCD Program,
(2) Organize and support parent cooperatives to establish community-based ECCD programs,
(3) Provide counterpart funds for the continuing professional development of their ECCD public service providers; and
(4) Provide the facilities for the conduct of their ECCD Program.
