✅PROGRAM RATIONALE:
Pursuant to Republic Act 11036 otherwise known as Mental Health Act and in promotion of the Child Protection Policy and DepEd Order No. 14 s. 2020 or the Guidelines on the Required Health Standards in Basic Education Offices and Schools, the Department reiterates that the protection and promotion of the mental health and general welfare of all learners and personnel must be prioritized.

In line with this, the Schools Division Office of Cavite Province, through the collaboration of the Medical Unit, Youth Formation and Development Unit, DRRM Section, and Cavite Guidance Personnel Association will spearhead the conduct of “Youth Online Ugnayan (YOU) Matter” on November 12 and December 10, 2022 (Saturday).

✅PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
The program is geared towards the promotion of mental health, children’swelfare, and well-being across the academic populace. It specifically aims to:
• Assist students to understand the significance of one’s decisions and actions in one’s life;
• Identify vulnerable students for proper referral and additional social, emotional, and psychological support; and
• Increase awareness in promoting children’s welfare, help-seeking behaviors, and emotional well-being practices among students.
