It has its own dialect, dance, chant, and architecture, distinct from other Igorot tribes of Mountain Province. The people are friendly and unpretentious with a simple lifestyle. The perfect people for the perfect place. Malico is also the site of one of the fiercest fightings in World War 2. Artifacts of the war can be found around the place like old machine guns, tunnels and even a World War 2 American tank!
