Mariing kinokondena ng Police Regional Office 12 ang walang habas na pananambang na kumitil sa buhay nina Patrolman Apollo Morante Pagurayan at Patrolman Joerel Basilan Bullos sa Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat. Ang dalawang pulis ay nasa pagganap lamang ng kanilang tungkulin at tapat na nagsisilbi sa sambayanan nang sila ay walang awang inatake.

Hindi namin ito palalampasin. Gagawin ng Police Regional Office 12 ang lahat ng kinakailangang hakbang upang matukoy, maaresto, at mapanagot ang mga may-sala. Hangad natin ang agarang katarungan para sa ating mga nasawing kasamahan at sa kanilang mga naiwang pamilya.

On July 7, 2026, personnel of Kiamba Municipal Police Station intensified community security through Project B.O.G.S. (Boots-on-Ground Surveillance) by conducting foot patrol and coordinating with the school principal on existing security measures at D. G. Marino Elementary School, Barangay Poblacion, Kiamba, Sarangani Province. The activity forms part of the Philippine National Police's support for the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) SAFER Cities Program, aimed at strengthening public safety, enhancing crime prevention, and maintaining peace and order within the community.

On July 6, 2026, Kiamba Municipal Police Station personnel led by PMAJ EMMANUEL Y LARIOSA, Chief of Police, conducted the Police Community Relations (PCR) Month Celebration 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony with the theme, "Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ugnayang Pulis at Mamamayan: Tapat, Maasahan at Nararamdaman ng Bayan," at Cabales-Enarbia Srs. Integrated School, Barangay Lomuyon, Kiamba, Sarangani Province.

The Kick-Off Ceremony was aligned with the recent incidents of violence in schools, including the stabbing incidents in the Province of Cavite and the shooting incident at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City, Leyte, through the conduct of an Active Shooter Safety Protocol Briefing and Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) for teachers, non-teaching personnel, auxiliary staff, and school security personnel spearheaded by Sir Jerome Reynes, Schoold Head, in coordination with the MDRRMO, MSWDO, Barangay Officials and Tanods.

The simulation strengthened the participants' preparedness and capability to respond effectively to active shooter incidents and other school-related emergencies. Following the exercise, PSMS Edmond T Bascones, SWAT Operator and Subject Matter Expert (SME), facilitated the Post-Evaluation, providing constructive feedback and operational recommendations to enhance emergency response and inter-agency coordination.
