TWO PROJECTS, ONE GOAL!

To strengthen local peace, security, and economic resilience, the Local Government Unit of Kiamba under the leadership of Hon. George F. Falgui, through the Kiamba Laban sa Kahirapan para sa Kapayapaan Project of the Municipal Agriculture's Office, and the 2ND Sarangani Provincial Mobile Force Company under the direct command of PLTCOL Hoover A. Antonio, spearheaded a joint activity featuring the official Turnover Ceremony of Sow Production Livestock for Former Rebel (FR) beneficiaries, integrated with Project Kumustahan, at Purok Rattan, Brgy. Lomuyon and Prk. 4, Brgy., Maligang, Kiamba, Sarangani Province.

Through this joint initiative, our beneficiaries were provided with livestock to help build sustainable livelihoods, paired with a heartwarming Project Kumustahan session to check on their well-being, listen to their stories, and ensure a smooth reintegration into the community.

The event was participated in by the representatives coming from the LGU, the program holders Malujomapet S. Bangcaya and Jandelbert Q. Velez from the Municipal Agriculture's Office, and the team from the securit unit, witnessed by selected barangay officials and the community.

The MTF-ELCAC is creating pathways toward economic stability, holistic healing, and genuine peace by mobilizing significant undertaking such as this to deliver and ensure holistic strategy towards total community transformation and sustainable peace.

In support to the Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay Opening Ceremony 2026, initiated by the 1204th MC, RMFB XII, the MTF-ELCAC, Chaired by the Hon. George F. Falgui, duly represented by the Focal Person, Ms. Irish Joy Y. Hingpit, and OND-HESED Foundation, Inc., represented by the Project Officer Mr. Jordan Saliling, teamed up for a joyful Children's Coloring Activity, held at Prk. Matingao I, Brgy. Tambilil, Kiamba, Sarangani Province. Seeing the kids express their creativity reminds us of exactly who we are building a safer community for.

Moreso, in close partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), headed by the MENRO Designate Wendell Rabor Cantero , duly represented by his staff, Richard Tagapulotan, hosted an exciting Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activity for our local children by introducing the incredible Captain Humphead or locally known as "Taungan"(Green Bumphead Parrotfish)! As a flagship species, the Taungan is a real-life reef superhero—it eats algae, keeps our corals healthy, and even helps make our beautiful white sand beaches! By teaching our children to protect the Taungan, we are planting the seeds of environmental stewardship for a safer, greener, and more sustainable community.

As a token of appreciation, the children have received school supplies set, donated by the OND-HESED Foundation, Inc.

This joint initiative underscores our commitment to holistic community development. Securing peace, fostering collaboration, and protecting our precious natural resources for future generations. Big thanks to all of our stakeholders for your unwavering support!

"Ugnayan sa Barangay" Successfully Concludes in Barangay Datu Dani!

The MTF-ELCAC has successfully concluded the Ugnayan sa Barangay in Barangay Datu Dani as part of our continuous and aggressive implementation of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) for CY 2026, today, July 6, 2026, in a two-way strategy.

The initiative served as a vital platform for open dialogue, bridging the gap between the local government, national line agencies, and the residents. Through this engagement, community issues were directly gathered and priority development projects were identified to foster a peaceful, safe, and progressive community.

In two separate events facilitated by the MTF-ELCAC Focal, residents actively voiced their local concerns, peace and order challenges, and development needs. In collaboration with the DILG, Charlie Company, 105th IB, 6ID, PA; 1204TH MC, RMFB XII; 2ND COY, 2ND SPFMC; PNP-MPS, and various local departments, a unified approach was established to ensure no community is left behind.

Our deepest gratitude to Barangay Captain Kamansa S. Beto, the barangay council, BTF-ELCAC, Barangay SK Council, vulnerable sectors (PWD; Solo Parents; Senior Citizens), our partner agencies, school administration, Barangay Health Unit, BNS, BHWs, farmers and fisherfolks, CSO Representatives, and most importantly, the residents of Barangay Datu Dani, the Bangsamoro, Christian, and IP Community, for their warm reception and active participation.

True progress begins when we listen, connect, and collaborate. Together, we are building a more resilient, peaceful, and empowered community!

As peace and progress go hand in hand, the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist through its Kiamba Laban sa Kahirapan para sa Kapayapaan Project, in partnership with MTF-ELCAC, has recently kicked off the Capacity Development Training series, focusing on sustainable agriculture interventions for our Friends Rescued and vulnerable communities.

What we are cultivating;
1. Sustainable Upland Rice Production: Crop Management for FRs beneficiaries in So. Datal B**g, Brgy. Tamadang last June 24, 2026.

2. Hog Raising: Successful Breeder Management for FRs beneficiaries in Prk. Rattan, Brgy. Lomuyon last June 26, 2026.

3. Corn Production and Management for our vulnerable community in So. Datal Uga, Brgy. Tamadang and So. Datal Lanuyong, Brgy. Kapate last June 30, 2026.

The CapDev Training series are facilitated by each of the program holders of the OMAG, Ma'am Malujomapet S. Bangcaya; Vina Ayessa O. Osmeña; and Jandelbert Q. Velez. Supported by the expertise of Farm Technicians from the Department of Agriculture and PILMICO. By equipping them with modern farming techniques and agribusiness skills, we aren't just teaching sustainable agriculture, we are cultivating self-reliance, food security, and a path toward lasting peace and prosperity.

Empowered farmers build stronger, more peaceful communities. As well as transforming livelihoods means transforming lives. Together, we are turning fields of challenge into landscapes of opportunities and hope.
