Please be advised that the Kiangan Peace Museum is temporarily closed until further notice to give way for renovation and facility improvements.

These enhancements are being undertaken to provide a better visitor experience while preserving the rich history, culture, and stories of peace that the museum proudly shares.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support.

BAKLE AD TUPLAC 2026 | Kiangan, Ifugao

Culture, thanksgiving, and unity were celebrated during today's Bakle ad Tuplac in Kiangan, Ifugao, bringing the community together to honor and preserve the rich heritage of the Ifugao people.

Mayor Atty. Raldis Andrei Bulayungan encouraged the younger generation to cherish and preserve Ifugao traditions, while Guest of Honor and Speaker Vice Mayor Michelle Alice Baguilat emphasized the importance of passing on indigenous knowledge and cultural practices to future generations.

The celebration featured traditional singing, the ceremonial pouring of rice wine, and binakle making, showcasing enduring customs that continue to strengthen Ifugao identity. The event was spearheaded by Hon. Laurence A. Dulnuan, with the participation of representatives from the National Museum of the Philippines.
