Camp Quintin Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City- Police Regional Office 11 through the Tagum City Police Station under the supervision of PLTCOL JEFFREY C LATAYADA, Chief of Police, together with Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) XI, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), and 1ST Davao Norte

Police Mobile Force Company (DNPMFC) successfully arrested Alias "JOFFREY," allegedly an HVI or High Value Individual (HVI) during an anti-illegal drug operation through a buy-bust operation at 10:38 PM on September 30, 2023, in Purok Margarita, Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City.

During the operation, the suspect was caught in the act of selling shabu in exchange for marked money.

Upon searching, the police found the suspect in possession of nine (9) sachets of shabu, a small weighing scale, a belt bag, the marked money used in the buy-bust, and a Yamaha Sniper motorcycle.

The total estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of the seized items is PHP 618,800.00 with a total weight of 91 grams. The suspect is now in the custody of the Tagum City Police Station and will be charged with violating RA 9165 (the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022).

With the aforementioned success, PBGEN ALDEN B DELVO, RD, PRO 11, lauded the operating team for their exemplary effort. Also, he assures that PRO 11 is committed to its aim to persistently combat illegal drugs through the continuous conduct of operations, including buy-busts, to apprehend individuals engaged in drug-related activities.
