| Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas, through Executive Order No. 2026-56, has ordered the 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐒 (𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬) throughout the Province of Benguet on 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 7, 2026.
This measure is being implemented as Tropical Storm "MAYMAY" (KUJIRA), although already weakened while moving east-southeastward over the Cordillera, continues to bring significant weather impacts across the Province of Benguet, with heavy to intense rainfall expected to persist until Friday. As of the 2:00 PM PAGASA Weather Bulletin, Benguet remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 due to the prevailing weather conditions.
In view of these conditions, the extension of the suspension of face-to-face classes is intended to ensure the safety and well-being of students, school personnel, and the general public by reducing exposure to these weather-related risks.
The public is advised to remain vigilant, avoid non-essential travel, and continue monitoring official weather advisories for updates.
For emergencies or weather-related concerns, please contact your respective Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs).
Stay safe kakailyan.
