Today marked the beginning of a meaningful journey toward academic improvement, readiness, and renewed confidence. We are proud of our learners for taking this important step toward success and grateful to our educators for their unwavering commitment.

22 April 2026 | The LGU Arakan Inter-school Summer Sports Fest 2026 officially kicked off with high spirits and strong support for youth development through sports. Mayor Jeam Villasor shared that this event may be the first of many, with the hope that the Summer Sports Fest will become an annual program of the LGU.

“Pakusgon nato ang sports sa Arakan,” the Mayor emphasized, highlighting the importance of empowering the youth through positive avenues like sports—steering them away from illegal activities and toward discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.

The festival features Volleyball and Basketball for Boys and Girls, both Elementary and Secondary levels, with participants coming from two clusters each representing the East, West, and North Districts of Arakan, alongside teams from Notre Dame of Arakan (NDAI) and CFCST.

A celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and hope for the youth of Arakan—let the games inspire and empower!

24 April 2026 | Lorence Marcelino and Fhea Roble, together with 8 outstanding student leaders from the Municipality of Arakan (Greenfield, Dallag, and Malibatuan), proudly represented our community during the Sexually Healthy and Personally Empowered Adolescents (SHAPE-A) Camp.

With the theme “Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: A Convergence for Today’s Learners,” the camp was held on May 22–24, 2026, at The Basket, Amas, Kidapawan City, North Cotabato.

Your participation reflects leadership, advocacy, and commitment to empowering today’s youth.

𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

24 April 2026 | Greenfield NHS, with players from FAAMHS (Arakan East Cluster 1), clinched the Championship Title in the LGU Arakan Inter-school Summer Sports Fest 2026 after an intense three-day run (April 22–24)!

After 6 hard-fought games, the team emerged victorious in the finals against Notre Dame of Arakan, winning 74–70 in a thrilling finish.

Mamon (GNHS) led the championship game with 19 points, followed by Guhiling with 12 points, while Sigcaran sealed the win with 4 consecutive clutch free throws in the closing moments.

Guided by Coach Sir Roberto Morallon (Greenfield NHS), this team showed grit, heart, and championship pride. More than the title, the players have learned much from the game.

Congratulations to our champions! More games to play and win!

✨ Filipino Family Model 2026 | PTA Day Highlights ✨

Noong nakaraang Pebrero, matagumpay na isinagawa ang PTA Day kung saan isa sa mga tampok na gawain ay ang Filipino Family Model 2026. Mula sa bawat baitang, anim (6) na mag-asawa o magulang ang nominado bilang huwarang pamilyang Pilipino.

Hindi lamang nakasentro sa paaralan ang pamantayan ng pagpili, kundi maging sa aktibong pakikilahok ng pamilya sa barangay, mga programang pangkomunidad ng pamahalaan, at sa kanilang gampanin sa espiritwal na aspeto tulad ng pakikibahagi sa mga gawaing pangsimbahan at pagpapanatili ng pananampalataya sa loob ng pamilya. Mahalaga ring isinasaalang-alang ang samahan, pagkakaisa, at matibay na ugnayan ng bawat miyembro sa loob ng tahanan.

Ang mga pamilyang nominado ay ang sumusunod:

Bilang bahagi ng proseso, isinagawa ang hiwalay na panayam para sa mga magulang at sa kanilang mga anak. Ang panayam sa mga mag-aaral ay pinangunahan ng mga g**ong sina Ma’am Lorena T. Montaño, Ma’am Maria Estela Aguinsatan, at Ma’am Lovely Maratas upang mailahad ng mga bata ang kanilang karanasan at pananaw tungkol sa kanilang pamilya.

Samantala, ang pakikipanayam sa mga magulang ay isinagawa ng PTA Board sa pangunguna ni Rose Venus Soriano (PTA President) at ni Brgy. Kagawad Kristine Carol Dangin.

Hindi nangangahulugan na ang hindi nagwagi ay hindi na isang huwarang pamilya. Ang bawat pamilyang kalahok ay may kanya-kanyang lakas, kakayahan, at kwentong nagbibigay inspirasyon sa iba. Bawat isa ay patunay na ang pagiging mabuting pamilya ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa pagkapanalo, kundi sa araw-araw na pagpapakita ng pagmamahal, pagkakaisa, pananampalataya, at malasakit sa isa’t isa.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, higit na naipakita ang kahalagahan ng isang responsableng pamilya—hindi lamang bilang katuwang ng paaralan, kundi bilang aktibong kabahagi sa pag-unlad ng komunidad.

𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐒 | Hiking and Community Service at Sitio Kabanatihan, Brgy. Tumanding

27 February 2026 | Learners from Grade 11 and Grade 12 successfully conducted a meaningful hiking activity and community service at Sitio Kabanatihan, Brgy. Tumanding, Cotabato, blending physical fitness, academic learning, and community engagement into one enriching experience.

The activity began early, with the hike starting from Tumanding proper at 5:00 AM and reaching Sitio Kabanatihan at around 7:00 AM. Grade 12 learners undertook the activity as part of their Physical Education 4 (Recreational Activities) and fulfilled their Community Engagement, Solidarity, and Citizenship (CESC) requirements. Meanwhile, Grade 11 learners joined the hike in connection with their Lakbay Sanaysay, capturing reflections from the journey.

After the hike, Grade 12 learners facilitated a community program they themselves planned and executed—demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills through hosting, teaching, and interaction with the residents. They also shared goods collected from various sources, including personal contributions, reinforcing the spirit of service and solidarity. The program warmly concluded with a shared meal with the community, fostering connection and gratitude on both sides.

Following the activity, Grade 12 learners continued their trek along the route exiting Sitio Valencia, Sto. Niño, Arakan, Cotabato, safely completing the full learning journey.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Captain of Tumanding and the Sitio Leader of Kabanatihan for warmly welcoming our learners and granting them this valuable learning opportunity. Special thanks as well to the parents, SSLG officers, and generous donors whose support helped make this event meaningful and successful.

A true reminder that learning goes beyond the classroom—rooted in experience, service, and community.
