📢 KIDAPAWAN CITY UPDATE

Our first Committee on Housing and Land Use meeting—chaired by Councilor Galen Ray Lonzaga—was a huge success today (Jan 21, 2026)!

We tackled City Housing Board Resolution No. 002, Series 2025, which will let Atty. Jose Paolo M. Evangelista request the Registry of Deeds to ANNOTATE RESTRICTIONS on land titles for KCRP I, III, IV, V, VI, and all future city relocation projects.

Why this matters: Some beneficiaries have been selling their homes—which goes against the Housing Code. These restrictions will make sure affordable housing stays with families who need it most.

Big thanks to the City Planning Development Office and all committee member representatives for the great work! 💪

ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN FOR SLAUGHTERING OPERATION (SWINE) NC II-BATCH 6

Kidapawan Skills Institute and Assessment Center

Is pleased to announce that enrollment is now open for the Slaughtering Operation (Swine) (NC II) training program at Kidapawan Skills Institute and Assessment Center. This competency-based program is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to perform safe, efficient, and compliant swine slaughter operations in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

PROGRAM DETAILS

- Qualification: Slaughtering Operation (Swine) NC II
- Training Duration: 297 hours As per TESDA competency standards (includes hands-on practical training and assessment preparation)
- Venue: Kidapawan Skills Institute and Assessment Center and Kidapawan City Double A Slaughter House
- Assessment: Accredited TESDA assessment will be conducted upon completion of training; successful candidates will receive a National Certificate II recognized nationwide.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

- At least 18 years old and at least high school graduate
-Form 137 and Diploma for HS graduate /TOR for College Graduate
- PSA Birth Certificate (2 copies)
-HEPA B Negative Test result
-3 pcs passport size ID picture [white background, shirt with collar]
-4 pcs 1x1 ID picture [white background, shirt with collar]
-1pc Brown envelope long
- 1pc Brown Folder long
- Barangay Certification as to proof of residence (for Kidapawan residents)
- Proof of payment (training fees)

1,600++ armchairs for distribution today. Since we started allocating funds for this project two years ago, we have already reduced the armchair shortage in Kidapawan City public schools by 70%. Naa pay 30% nga nabilin but we are confident na ma-resolve na nato ni next year. As usual, diretso na ni distribute sa mga public school para magamit dayun sa atoang mga learners. Salamat sa tanang ning bayad og buwis. Dakong tabang sa mga estudyante ang inyong gibayad paingon sa lokal na panggamhanan. God bless you all🙏
