Part I- History of the Barangay Junction
1. Historical Background- a group of pioneering people from bohol in the person of Isabelo Daquio Sr., Guillermo Curayag Sr., Eulogio Bulawa, came first to the place in 1939 during the Japanese occupation. These groups of settlers were apprehended by the Japanese Imperial army and took them to Lanao Kidapawan Cotabato to serve as the laborer of the Japanese Garrison. When Liberation came in 1945, these groups of pioneers from Bohol together with the other group came back to the place, to occupy land. Finally, a surveyor from the Bureau of LandMr. Flores came and surveyed the place until they reached the joining point of the 3 long rivers called NUANGAN RIVER, MALAANG RIVER, and SAGUING RIVER in which they derived the name of the place called "JUNCTION" meaning the joining of 3 rivers.
2. Legal Basis- Junction is a rural barangay and it was created in 1950.
