LOOK | Provincial Peace and Order Council Meeting | March 27, 2023

The Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) meeting were attended by different Local Chief Executives, Provincial Line Agencies, AFP, and PNP. It was presided by the Governor of Cotabato Province, Hon. Emmylou "Lala" Talino Mendoza together with Vice Governor, Hon. Efren Pinol, and Provincial Director of DILG, Mr. Ali Abdullah. The AFP and PNP presented the status of peace and order in Cotabato Province.

After the decision meeting by the Tribal Leaders of Tinonanon Manuvu of Arakan, Cotabato, the NCIP Cotabato Province facilitated the MOA Formulation between Tribal Leaders of Tinonanon Manvu and Save the Children, Re: Engaged: Empowering Girl as Agents of Change Towards Gender Equality in Indigenous and Disadvantaged Communities in Cotabato Province.

Issue on members of Bangsamoro who occupies portion of the AD was resolved and the agreement will be signed during 2nd round of meeting.

1st Commencement Exercises
📍Sitio Waterfall, Barangay Bongolanon Magpet
February 24, 2023

A 1st Commencement Exercises for the School of Indigenous Knowledge in Barangay Bongolanon Magpet was conducted on February 24, 2023 and was participated by youth/representatives of 5 different Barangays in Magpet. The graduates was confirmed by NCIP Cotabato Provincial Officer Sir Macapantao Manamba.

The graduates performed and showcases their different dances such as BadBad Dance, War dance and Souroy Dance, they also performed agung playing, Tula and Uwahing/Chanting.

Present also during the said event are the following: EDC representative Mr. Jonathan Abel, MAFI representative, Boi Avelina Maasan, DepEd representative Mr. Brando Emboc, Provincial IPMR Hon. Arsenio Ampalid, Municipal IPMR Datu Iniosar Lambac, Magpet Deputy Mayor Datu Nerio Aguirre, and Magpet Tourism Officer Ms. Chariz Mae Tahum, Barangay IPMR, Chieftains and Barangay Officials of Barangay Bongolanon.
