Kidapawan City – Nagsagawa ng convergence meeting ang Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII (DSWD XII), sa pamamagitan ng Risk Resiliency Program – Project LAWA at BINHI (RRP-PLAB), kasama ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XII – TUPAD at Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) noong Setyembre 22, 2026, upang palakasin ang pagtutulungan para sa pagpapatupad ng Project LAWA at BINHI sa anim na bagong target na local government units (LGUs) sa Cotabato Province.

Nakatuon ang pagpupulong sa pagpapalakas ng koordinasyon at pag-aayos ng mga hakbang para sa implementasyon ng programa sa mga target na LGU. Bilang susunod na hakbang, bubuo ang Technical Working Group (TWG) ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) upang pormal na maitatag ang partnership at mapadali ang koordinasyon sa mga concerned municipal LGUs.

Ipinapakita ng aktibidad ang patuloy na convergence efforts ng DSWD XII, DOLE-TUPAD, PSWDO, at mga LGU upang isulong ang sustainable livelihood opportunities, food and water security, at katatagan ng mga komunidad sa pamamagitan ng Project LAWA at BINHI.

Anchored on the Department of Labor and Employment’s continuing thrust under Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino toward inclusive, strengthened employment and livelihood interventions for vulnerable sectors, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XII, through its Cotabato Field Office (CFO), turned over ₱2,828,820.36 in livelihood assistance to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Antipas, its Accredited Co-Partner (ACP), on September 15, 2026.

The assistance will benefit 65 Rehabilitated Persons Who Used Drugs (RPWUDs) in Antipas by providing resources to establish or strengthen livelihood activities and create income-generating opportunities. Through the DILP, the beneficiaries will have access to livelihood inputs that can help them pursue productive economic activities and develop additional sources of income for themselves and their families. It will also provide them with an opportunity to put their skills and available resources into productive use while taking steps toward greater economic participation.

During the turnover, Municipal Mayor Cristobal Cadungon expressed his appreciation to DOLE for extending the program to the municipality and its beneficiaries. He also emphasized the LGU’s responsibility to help ensure that the livelihood assistance is properly utilized and translated into viable economic activities.

“We will make sure to provide opportunities through livelihood projects that are practical, feasible, and sustainable, and that will respond to the needs of the beneficiaries,” Mayor Cadungon said.

The turnover was attended by Supervising Labor and Employment Officer designate Mansour Jesu Kairos Orfercio, Labor and Employment Officer III, and DILP Focal Person Zarah Louise Mahinay, and TUPAD Program Coordinator Justice Pretty Joy Busig, together with representatives from the LGU of Antipas and other stakeholders.

The assistance forms part of DOLE XII-CFO’s continuing implementation of livelihood interventions for vulnerable sectors. With the direction of Regional Director Imelda Gatinao and Chief LEO and CFO Head Ernesto Coloso, the office continues to implement inclusive programs that bring livelihood assistance closer to communities, provide beneficiaries with practical opportunities to earn and support their families, and enable them to participate in productive economic activities.END/SGlimada

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XII, through its Cotabato Field Office (CFO), and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pigcawayan brought 846 local and overseas job opportunities closer to jobseekers through the 2026 Trabaho Agad Job Fair and One-Stop Shop at the Pigcawayan Municipal Gymnasium, as part of the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

The job fair featured 255 local vacancies from seven local employers and 591 overseas vacancies from three recruitment agencies, drawing 94 qualified jobseekers, including five near Hires, and 10 hired on the spot for positions as collector, cashier, office staff, and bagger.

The accompanying One-Stop Shop also served 192 clients through TESDA, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, NBI, PSA, BIR, and DFA, providing convenient access to essential government services in one venue.

Through DOLE XII, led by Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao, the initiative continues to connect Filipino workers and communities to jobs and government assistance.

The activity advances Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino’s Trabaho Agad initiative, which brings employment opportunities closer to jobseekers through accessible and converged job fairs and services.

The activity brings together jobseekers and participating employers, providing applicants with opportunities to explore available job vacancies, submit their applications, and connect directly with prospective employers.

The event is supported by key officials and stakeholders, including Mansour Jesu Kairos C. Cotabato Province— The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XII – Cotabato Field Office (CFO) is currently conducting a simultaneous Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) payout across eight venues in Cotabato Province.

The payout is being conducted in Midsayap, Pigcawayan, Alamada, Banisilan, Amas, Kidapawan City, M’lang, and Kabacan, benefiting a total of 2,642 beneficiaries and providing ₱21,436,000.00 in assistance to qualified workers across the province.

As part of the activity, Certificates of Availment for TUPAD were also awarded to the Provincial Government of Cotabato (PGO) amounting to ₱5,310,500.00 and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Midsayap amounting to ₱5,500,000.00, further expanding access to emergency employment assistance for qualified workers.

This province-wide initiative underscores DOLE’s commitment to bringing government assistance closer to workers and ensuring that support reaches communities across Cotabato.

Orfrecio, brings essential government services, employment opportunities, and assistance closer to the people through Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat.

In partnership with the Local Government Unit of Midsayap, led by Mayor Rolando C. Sacdalan, today’s activity features a Job Fair, One-Stop Shop, Kadiwa ng Pangulo, and TUPAD Payout, providing workers, jobseekers, and community members with access to employment opportunities, government services, and immediate assistance.

The One-Stop Shop brings together key government agencies to make public services more accessible and convenient, including:
