The GIP aims to engage deserving youth in government service by providing valuable work experience and exposure to public service, while enhancing their technical and professional skills.

Through this program, interns are deployed to various government agencies for a limited period and are provided with a salary based on the prevailing regional minimum wage, helping prepare them for future employment and career development.

Through GIP, DOLE continues to empower the youth, promote employability, and contribute to nation-building by nurturing future professionals and public servants.

๐–๐€๐“๐‚๐‡: Highlights of the JobStart Writeshop on the Development of the Technical Training Plan & MOA Signing I DOLE XII โ€“ CFO, TESDA XII - Cotabato Provincial Office, PESO Kidapawan, and partner employers convened to drive program implementation of youth on May 19, 2026 at Park Lay Suites. Poblacion. Kidapawan City.

The activity highlighted collaboration among stakeholders in creating customized training plans that strengthen JobStart beneficiariesโ€™ employability. With TESDAโ€™s guidance, the plans balanced industry needs with regulatory requirements.

SEnA serves as a 30-day mandatory conciliation-mediation mechanism that aims to help workers and employers resolve labor issues amicably before they escalate into formal cases.

Through this initiative, DOLE strengthens industrial peace, protects workersโ€™ rights, and encourages harmonious workplace relations through dialogue and cooperation.

Based on data gathered from the PESO Employment Information System (PEIS) and PhilJobNet, the region recorded more than 106,000 registered job seekers and over 30,000 vacancies from 902 employers.

The report also identifies the top occupations, industries, and areas with the highest concentration of job seekers and vacancies, serving as a reference for policymakers, employers, job seekers, and stakeholders in crafting responsive employment and workforce development strategies toward inclusive and sustainable growth in the region.
