On August 18, 2026, the South Cotabato Credit Surety Fund Cooperative (SCCSFCoop) was featured during the 2nd CSF Spotlight Series held at Habi Hotel, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The activity was conducted in a hybrid format, with face-to-face participation in Koronadal City and virtual attendance. It was a collaborative initiative of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) designed to highlight the success stories, challenges encountered, resilience, operational strategies, and best practices of the South Cotabato CSF Cooperative.
The event was graced by representatives from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), including Director Mynard Byan Mojica of the BSP, CDA Undersecretary Alexander B. Raquepo, Assistant Secretary Luz H. Yrinco and Regional Director Juriski B. Mangelen. Also in attendance were South Cotabato Vice Governor Arthur Pingoy Jr. and Board Member Nilda B. Almencion, who expressed their commendation, inspirational messages, and support for the South Cotabato CSF Cooperative (SCCSFCoop).
The activity also featured interviews and an open forum where participants raised questions to the guests and panelists from South Cotabato CSF Cooperative represented by Chairman Adolfo T. Tanco, Jr., Manager Monet Pamplona and Members Ezrin Adolf Tanco and Jenntte Tan, from Land Bank of the Philippines represented by Manager Joyce Lorilla and from Provincial Cooperative Development Office of South Cotabato represented by Mr. Marlon Serillo.
Representatives of the South Cotabato Credit Surety Fund Cooperative (SCCSFCoop) shared their best practices in strengthening the cooperative's operations, the challenges they encountered during its early years as a CSF cooperative, and how they effectively managed their financial resources. They also discussed strategies for scaling up loan endorsements to potential MSME entrepreneurs and cooperative borrowers.
The activity was officially concluded with a closing message from Adolfo T. Tanco, Jr., Chairperson of the South Cotabato Credit Surety Fund Cooperative (SCCSFCoop), who expressed his sincere gratitude to all the guests, participants, partner agencies, and stakeholders for their valuable contributions to the success of the 2nd CSF Spotlight Series.
