WEEK 39 – BARANGAY KALINISAN DAY (BarKaDa) / BARANGAY ROAD CLEARING OPERATION

Area: Purok 6B – Chico, Barangay Lanao, Kidapawan City

On October 3, 2026, the Barangay Lanao Council conducted its Week 39 Barangay Kalinisan Day (BarKaDa) Clean-Up Drive and Barangay Road Clearing Operation at Purok 6B – Chico, Barangay Lanao, Kidapawan City.

The activity was participated in by the Barangay Council, all BPAT/Tanods, and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Council, who worked together in clearing road obstructions, removing accumulated waste, and cleaning the identified areas to promote cleanliness, safety, and accessibility within the community.

The activity demonstrates the continued commitment of Barangay Lanao in implementing the Barangay Kalinisan Day (BarKaDa) and maintaining clean, safe, and orderly public spaces for the benefit of the residents.

Amoang ginapahibalo nga ang mga pangalan nga anaa sa listahan mao ang mga kwalipikado (eligible) nga makadawat sa UPLIFT Financial Assistance (2nd Tranche) karong Oktubre 13, 2026, gikan sa 6:00 AM hangtod 4:00 PM, sa Kidapawan City Gymnasium.

Kini nga listahan opisyal nga naggikan sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) FO 12 ug gi-endorso pinaagi sa Kidapawan City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).

Mga Kinahanglanon (Requirements):
• Valid ID (mas maayo kung National ID)Duha (2) ka colored photocopy sa maong ID
• Alang sa dugang nga mga pangutana o katin-awan, mahimo kamo nga mobisita sa inyong Barangay Hall aron makaistorya ang atoang CSWDO Desk Officer o mo bisita kamo diritso sa CSWD Office of LGU Kidapawan.

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED)

Date: September 10, 2026
Barangay Lanao, Kidapawan City

On September 10, 2026, the Barangay Lanao Council, together with the barangay functionaries, conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) within their respective areas of responsibility.

The Barangay Health Center personnel actively participated in the drill, while the Barangay Day Care Centers also conducted earthquake preparedness activities involving the daycare children and thier parents. The activity aimed to strengthen awareness and preparedness, promote the proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, and enhance the community’s readiness during an earthquake or other emergency situations.

The activity was successfully conducted through the cooperation and participation of the barangay officials, functionaries, health workers, daycare personnel, and community members.

Total Participants: 89

The Week 37 BarKaDa Clean-Up Drive was conducted at Purok 5C – Yellow Papaya, under the supervision of District Kagawad Mark L. Ceballos and with the guidance of Punong Barangay Ricardo B. Ceballos.

The activity was participated in by the Purok President and Purok members, barangay functionaries, and selected students from North Valley College, with a total of 89 participants. The clean-up focused on maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the barangay road and surrounding areas through active community participation and cooperation.

WEEK 35 – BARANGAY ROAD CLEARING AND BARANGAY KALINISAN DAY

Location:Purok 5A – Pomelo, Barangay Lanao, Kidapawan City

On September 5, 2026, Barangay Lanao conducted its Week 35 Barangay Road Clearing and Barangay Kalinisan Day (Clean-Up Drive) at Purok 5A – Pomelo.

The activity was participated in by the Barangay Officials, BPAT/Tanods, and residents of the purok, particularly along the Area of Responsibility (AOR) from the entrance near RUSI (highway) going toward the respective area of Purok 5A.

During the activity, various debris, branches, and small trees obstructing portions of the barangay road were cleared. Some branches were properly pruned and small trees were trimmed or cut where necessary to remove road obstructions and improve the accessibility and safety of motorists and pedestrians.

The activity demonstrated the continued cooperation and active participation of the barangay officials, BPAT/Tanods, and residents** in maintaining clean, safe, and accessible barangay roads and promoting a clean and orderly community.

Masayang ibinahagi ng Barangay Lanao Council ang Educational Assistance sa limang (5) scholars ng Barangay Lanao sa ilalim ng Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program (BBMP) ng Office of the President – Socio-Civic Projects Funds (SCPF).

Noong September 17 , 2026, nakatanggap ang bawat scholar ng ₱20,000.00, para sa kanilang mga pangangailangang pang-edukasyon. 📚💙
