👉 Reminders for all participants:
✅️Follow marshals and safety guidelines throughout the run.
✅️Wear bright or reflective clothing to stand out to drivers.
✅️Run against traffic (on the left side) so you can see oncoming vehicles.
✅️Use sidewalks or paths whenever available; only run on the road if no other option.
✅️Look both ways at intersections and never assume drivers will yield.

WEEK 21 CLEAN-UP DRIVE
📍 Purok 3A-Mangga, Barangay Lanao
📅 May 30, 2026

The Weekly Clean-Up Drive was successfully conducted at Purok 3A-Mangga, Barangay Lanao, led by District Kagawad Chito Peñaranda and attended by Kagawad Carlos Enoc, together with barangay workers, volunteers, and residents.

The activity focused on cleaning public areas, collecting and properly disposing of waste, and promoting environmental awareness among community members. Through the cooperation and active participation of all involved, the clean-up drive contributed to maintaining a cleaner, healthier, and safer environment for the residents of the purok.

Parents and guardians who have enrolled their toddlers aged 3–4 years old in the Day Care Center of Barangay Lanao are hereby invited and required to attend the Parents' Orientation for the upcoming School Year 2026–2027.

The Barangay Development Council Committee of Barangay Lanao conducted its 1st Meeting on May 29, 2026, at the Barangay Session Hall to discuss and deliberate the proposed budget for CY 2027. The meeting focused on identifying priority programs, projects, and activities aimed at strengthening community development and improving public services within the barangay.

During the discussion, the committee carefully tackled the proposed allocation of funds for various sectors and committees, including programs for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Senior Citizens (SC), Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM), 20% Development Fund, and the Gender and Development (GAD) Plan. Other important matters regarding budgeting, infrastructure projects, social services, education support, disaster preparedness, health programs, and community welfare were also discussed by the body.

The meeting was attended by the School Heads of Lanao Central Elementary School and Lanao National High School, together with the Presidents of the Senior Citizens and PWD Associations, who shared recommendations and insights for the improvement of programs and services in the barangay.

Also present during the meeting were the Punong Barangay, Barangay Council Members, Barangay Treasurer, Barangay Secretary, and other sectoral representatives, who actively participated in the discussions and planning to ensure that the proposed CY 2027 budget will address the priority needs and concerns of the community.

The Week 20 Weekly Clean-Up Drive was conducted at Purok 6G-Guava, Barangay Lanao dated May 23, 2026 under the leadership of District Kagawad Eduardo Parado with the active participation of residents and Brgy.Workers.

The activity aimed to maintain the cleanliness of the community, promote environmental awareness, and encourage unity and cooperation among residents in keeping the surroundings clean, safe, and healthy.
