Today, March 17, 2025 -The Municipal Treasurer’s Office staff conducted a fuel calibration at RS Gasoline Station in Poblacion, Kitaotao, Bukidnon.

The calibration aimed to verify that the fuel pumps dispensed the correct volume per liter, preventing any discrepancies that could affect consumers and businesses. Using certified measuring instruments, the team inspected and tested the dispensers to ensure they met the required standards. This ensures fair transactions between fuel providers and consumers. If any discrepancies were found, the necessary adjustments were made before proceeding with the sealing process. After the calibration, the team securely sealed the fuel pumps to prevent unauthorized adjustments and tampering. These seals serve as proof that the pumps have passed inspection and should remain untouched until the next scheduled calibration.

The Municipal Treasurer’s Office emphasized the importance of routine fuel calibration to protect consumer rights and maintain public trust in local fuel providers. Similar activities are expected to be conducted in other fuel stations within the municipality to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Lorega, Bukidnon – In a continued effort to promote environmental conservation and responsible tourism, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office and the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) worked together to install an informational tarpaulin regarding the Municipal Ordinance No. 31 (15th SB) series of 2024 in key areas of Lorega, Bukidnon.

The Municipal Ordinance no. 31 (15th SB) series of 2024 mandates a ₱20 per head fee for visitors entering designated tourist locations within the municipality. This initiative aims to generate funds for the protection, maintenance, and sustainability of Lorega’s natural attractions, ensuring that these sites remain clean, preserved, and well-managed for both locals and tourists to enjoy.

By putting up the tarpaulin in a visible and strategic location, the local government seeks to raise awareness and encourage compliance among visitors. The Municipal Treasurer’s Office and BPLO staff worked diligently to ensure that the ordinance is properly communicated to the public, emphasizing its role in fostering sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility.

The GCash team recently visited the Municipal Treasurer's Office of Kitaotao, Bukidnon, on January 28, 2025, to personally extend their congratulations for being the top-performing Local Government Unit (LGU) in Bukidnon in complying with all the requirements for the GCash payment partnership. The brief meeting then took place between Gcash Personnel and our Executive Assistant V - Alvin Obrique and AMT/BPLO designate - Raul Igtos and Municipal Treasurers Office Staffs - Charles Lester Renacia -RCCII/IT, Rockie Javier -IT to ensure the payment portal accessibility and reliability between clients and the LGU.
