Serbisyong Kinasingkasing: The Heartbeat of a 90-Year Legacy
As Kolambugan stands on the height of its 90th Founding Anniversary, we do not merely look back at history; we honor the living, breathing spirit that brought us here. June 2026 is officially designated as People’s Month, anchored on the development tagline of Hon. Lorenzo V. Mañgos named as "Serbisyong Kinasingkasing" : A Heartfelt Service.
This month-long celebration serves as the grand introduction to Kolambugan @ 90: An Embodiment of Unity and Resilience amidst Cultural Diversity, Honoring its Legacy as the Mother Town and Sarimanok Capital of Lanao del Norte as the theme for the 90th Araw ng Kolambugan Celebration dated July 1, 2026.
"Serbisyong Kinasingkasing" is our love letter to the people of Kolambugan. It is a recognition that our 90-year journey as the "Mother Town", the cradle from which other municipalities sprung, and our identity as the "Sarimanok Capital," brilliant with cultural color, was built by the hands of resilient Christians and Maranaos working as one.
For 30 days, local government, community leaders, and volunteers will manifest this gratitude through concrete, compassionate action. Every week of June will reflect a pillar of our shared identity, ensuring that as we approach July 1st, we are able to touch the lives of our Kolambuganons.
To ensure that this love letter translates into organized, impactful, and equitable public service, the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) – Kolambugan sits as the official Oversight Committee for People’s Month in which the MPDC – EnP Arlet E. Legaspi, MPA serves as the Committee Chairperson. Driven by data, structural integrity, and genuine community empathy, the MPDO orchestrates, monitors, and evaluates every program—ensuring that no Kolambuganon is left behind, and every heartbeat resonates with unity and pride as we march toward July 1st.
With the help of the vital offices of LGU-Kolambugan working as one team, a calendar of activities was laid-out as presented in here.

5. Blood letting, Dental and Ophthalmology Consultation Services – chaired by Dr. Emmanuel Estavas
6. People’s Organizations Day – chaired by PMO-Designate, Mr. Gilbertto Lastimoso
7. CLUP Updating, CBMS Convening, DOST-CEST, Project Presentation with MSU-IIT CE Department – chaired by MPDC, EnP Arlet E. Legaspi, MPA
8. Documentation and Secretariat Services for People’s Month – chaired by Planning Officer I, Christian Jeiel D. Partosa, LPT
9. National Line Agencies Services Day – chaired by Mr. Gregorio B. Tabañag
10. World Ocean’s Day – a collaborative activity led by LYDO- Designate, Albert Jan E. Piloton and MENRO- Designate, Maridel S. Ensendencia
