𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄-𝐗 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐂𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦

Cagayan de Oro City – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Northern Mindanao, led by Regional Director Atty. Joffrey M. Suyao, held its 9th Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting for Calendar Year 2026, marking the first participation of its new Assistant Regional Director Nicanor V. Bon in the Regional Management Team’s regular meeting.

The meeting brought together DOLE-X officials, Division chiefs, and Provincial Field Office heads to discuss key matters concerning the Department’s programs, operations, and delivery of labor and employment services in Northern Mindanao. For ARD Bon, the meeting served as an opportunity to work closely with the Regional Management Team and gain a deeper understanding of the Region’s ongoing initiatives and priorities.

The discussions were also anchored on the direction of 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 '𝐓𝐎𝐋' 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨, particularly his call for stronger teamwork, responsive programs, efficient service delivery, and greater focus on the needs of Filipino workers, jobseekers, and employers. DOLE-X continues to strengthen coordination among its offices and field units as it carries out the Department’s mandate and translates the Secretary’s priorities into meaningful services for the people of Northern Mindanao. Last August 23, 2026, 𝗣𝗘𝗦𝗢 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 joined the 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁 activity initiated by the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢) 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻, headed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝗘. 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻, in celebration of 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒐 𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏.

During the event, 𝗣𝗘𝗦𝗢 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 conducted a 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗟𝗠𝗜) drive and 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗦𝗥𝗣 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 specifically tailored for the youth of Kolambugan. This initiative aims to equip young citizens with vital employment insights and register their skill profiles into the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 to better connect them with future career and livelihood opportunities.
