The Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation (SKPF) and the South Cotabato Youth Development Council (SCYDC) successfully conducted their 3rd Joint Quarterly Meeting on September 1, 2026, at Cinco Niรฑas, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The meeting was presided by Hon. Cecille Ferl C. Alsula, SKMF President โ€“ Municipality of Norala in behalf of Hon. Vincent Figueroa, SKPF President , bringing together youth leaders and stakeholders to discuss matters concerning youth development, representation, and the continuous strengthening of youth governance in the Province of South Cotabato.

1. Proposed resolution requesting Hon. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., Provincial Governor of South Cotabato, to provide a monthly honorarium of Four Hundred Pesos (โ‚ฑ400.00) to each member of the South Cotabato Youth Development Council (SCYDC).

The Office of the Provincial Youth Development Officer (OPG-OPYDO) in partnership with SOLE Strides Running Club successfully concluded the Takbo ng Kabataan 2026 on August 29, 2026, held in front of the South Cotabato Sports Complex, as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

With every stride, the youth demonstrated energy, determination, discipline, and unity. What began as a simple run became a meaningful celebration of friendship, wellness, active citizenship, and the collective strength of the young people of South Cotabato.
From the starting line to the finish line, every participant carried a message: a healthy youth is an empowered youth, and an empowered youth is a stronger partner in building the community.
Congratulations to all our participants! Your enthusiasm and participation made this activity a meaningful and memorable part of this yearโ€™s Linggo ng Kabataan celebration.

The successful conduct of Takbo ng Kabataan 2026 reflects the continuing commitment of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, under the strong leadership of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., to promote programs that nurture the health, well-being, leadership, and active participation of the youth.

In line with the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, through the Office of the Provincial Governor โ€“ Office of the Provincial Youth Development Officer (OPG-OPYDO), conducted a PEP-TALK on August 27, 2026, featuring inspiring young leaders and personalities who shared their experiences, insights, and messages of encouragement to the youth.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation, through the Office of the Provincial Governorโ€“Office of the Provincial Youth Development Officer (OPG-OPYDO), as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, one of the highlights of the occassion was the delivery of the State of the Sangguniang Kabataan Address, presented by ๐’๐š๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐š๐ง๐  ๐Š๐š๐›๐š๐ญ๐š๐š๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐…๐ž๐๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐Š๐ข๐š ๐‹๐ž๐ž ๐‹๐š๐๐จ๐ญ-๐€๐ฆ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž held on August 27, 2026, at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center.

The State of the Sangguniang Kabataan Address served as a meaningful platform to present the accomplishments, initiatives, milestones, and continuing efforts of the Sangguniang Kabataan in advancing meaningful youth participation, strengthening youth leadership, and developing programs responsive to the needs, aspirations, and realities of young South Cotabateรฑos.

More than a presentation of accomplishments, the address reaffirmed that youth leadership is action, responsibility, and service. It highlighted the vital role of young leaders in local governance and nation-building, while strengthening the shared commitment of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato, Sangguniang Kabataan, and youth development partners to create opportunities where every young person can participate, lead, and make a difference.
