BARANGAY RANG-AY LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026

“Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation Through Technology and Partnership”

BARANGAY RANG-AY, BANGA, SOUTH COTABATO — Get ready, kabataan ng Rang-ay! The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Rang-ay is set to celebrate Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, bringing together young people through sports, traditional games, competitions, fellowship, and activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and community participation.

The celebration officially kicks off on August 8, 2026, with the Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly at 9:00 AM. Attendance is a must for participants, followed by the orientation and bracketing for sports.

All players and participants are required to attend the Oath of Sportsmanship. No attendance, no play and no participation in the activities.

🏀 SPORTS & ACTIVITIES

Among the highlights of this year’s celebration are:

🏀 Basketball – Opening on August 8 at 1:00 PM
• 15–18 years old bracket
• 19–30 years old bracket
• Maximum of 8 teams, first come, first served
• Sitio and Purok teams only
• ₱500 registration fee

DSWD UPLIFT PAY RESCHEDULED

To all qualified beneficiaries of Barangay Rang-ay, Banga, South Cotabato:

Please be informed that the DSWD UPLIFT PAY payout has been rescheduled to:

📅 August 10, 2026 (Monday)

All eligible beneficiaries are advised to proceed to the designated payout venue on the scheduled date and bring the following requirements:

✅ National ID (PhilSys)
✅ Verified GCash or PayMaya account, or
✅ LANDBANK ATM Regular Savings Account

In view of the continuing threat posed by Typhoon Kiyapo, the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Banga South Cotabato hereby announces EXTENDING SUSPENSION OF CLASSES in both public and private schools, tomorrow, July 24, 2026.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and welfare of all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and the public in anticipation of possible continuing heavy rainfall, strong winds, flooding, and other hazards associated with the typhoon.

Parents and guardians are likewise advised to keep their children indoors, remain vigilant, monitor official weather advisories issued by the appropriate government agencies, and follow all safety and preparedness measures.

Please be informed that tomorrow July 9, 2026, the Hon. Mayor Albert D. Palencia hereby suspend classes in all levels, both public and private schools due to typhoon BAVI (INDAY in its local name) affecting the municipality and the entire region SOCSKSARGEN.

The suspension of classes is for the safety of learners, school personnel and the parents.

Na pinangungunahan ng aming mahal na barangay Kapitan Clemente F. Bermudez Jr. kasama ang mga Barangay Councils, naiparating natin ang mga pangunahing pangangailangan ng ating komunidad at ang mga hakbang na makatutulong sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng ating barangay.

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) sa kanilang pagbibigay ng Free Wi-Fi equipment na lubos na makatutulong sa ating Barangay Rang-ay at Rang-ay Integrated School.

Sa pamamagitan ng proyektong ito, mas mapapalawak ang access sa internet ng ating mga kababayan at mag-aaral, na magbubukas ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa edukasyon, komunikasyon, at kaalaman.
