𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 | August 17, 2026

The Sangguniang Bayan of Tupi convened its Regular Session on August 17, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Legislative Building, reaffirming its commitment to responsive legislation, accountable leadership, and meaningful public service.

Adding significance to the session was the presence of visitors from different schools who took the opportunity to witness the legislative process firsthand. As our young learners and future leaders, they actively engaged with the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Bayan by asking questions and gaining valuable insights into local governance and public service.

Their presence reminds us that good governance is not only about making decisions today—it is also about inspiring and preparing the next generation of leaders.

Together, we continue to promote transparency, unity, leadership, and a culture of service for a stronger and more progressive Municipality of Tupi.

📋 COMMITTEE HEARING | AUGUST 11, 2026

The Committee on Legal Matters/Agriculture/Justice and Good Governance of the Sangguniang Bayan of Tupi successfully conducted a Committee Hearing on August 11, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. at the SB Conference Room, Legislative Building, Municipality of Tupi.

The hearing focused on the thorough deliberation and evaluation of ten (10) agenda items, including requests for authorization to enter into various Contracts of Service, the 2026 Moratorium Ordinance on Large-Scale Piggery and Poultry Projects, the proposed ordinance defining the Quasi-Judicial Powers of the Sangguniang Bayan, and the proposed use of LGU property in Barangay Kablon for the Department of Agriculture RFO XII Chicken Production Project.

Through meaningful discussion, clarification, and careful examination of the matters presented, the Committee continued to uphold its commitment to responsible legislation, transparency, accountability, and good governance.

The successful conduct of the hearing reflects the Sangguniang Bayan’s continuing efforts to ensure that every legislative measure and executive request is given proper consideration and due process before appropriate action is taken.

Driven by a shared vision of progress and excellence, the members of the Sangguniang Bayan engaged in meaningful deliberations and responsible decision-making on matters that advance the welfare of the community and strengthen local governance. Through unity, integrity, and accountability, the Council continues to uphold its legislative mandate in promoting sustainable development and improving the quality of life of every Tupiense.

Together, we remain committed to fostering a progressive, inclusive, and resilient Municipality of Tupi through principled leadership and genuine service to the people.

Strengthening collaboration, fostering unity, and advancing inclusive governance.

Today, I attended the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE) South Cotabato 3rd Quarterly Meeting 2026 held at the ANGAT Conference Room, Provincial Capitol, Koronadal City. The meeting focused on key matters affecting the Muslim community, including the proposed South Cotabato Moro Community Day, the appointment of the new Municipal Council of Elders (MCE) Chairman for the Municipality of Polomolok, and other significant concerns discussed during the open forum.

Meaningful dialogue and strong partnerships remain essential in promoting peace, cultural understanding, and sustainable development for the people of South Cotabato.
