As part of the Sangguniang Kabataan Council’s continuing efforts to strengthen support for schools and the education sector in the barangay, SK Member Vince Paul C. Gayta, representing the SK Council, participated in the School Program Implementation Review and Performance Assessment at Rotonda National High School on Monday, September 7.

The Barangay Council, under the leadership of Punong Barangay Cynthia Dema-ala, during its First Regular Session today, September 7, took up on Second Reading a proposed ordinance institutionalizing the Barangay Information Center (BIC), a step toward strengthening effective information dissemination, transparency, community engagement, and responsive communication at the barangay level.

The newly elected officers of Rotonda Village took their oath as Village officers, administered by Punong Barangay Cynthia Dema-ala, during the Flag-Raising Ceremony on Monday, September 7. PB Dema-ala likewise expressed her appreciation for their dedication and commitment to the community.

The Barangay Council, presided over by Punong Barangay Cynthia Dema-ala, will convene on Monday, September 7, for its 1st Regular Session of the month. Matters concerning community welfare and development, proposed ordinances, and other legislative concerns are set for deliberation and appropriate action.

In view of the current haze and transboundary smoke originating from forest and land fires in Indonesia, which are affecting parts of Mindanao, the NIA South Cotabato–Sarangani Irrigation Management Office reminds everyone to take the necessary precautions to protect our health and well‑being.

As part of earthquake preparedness efforts, the general public and various sectors are encouraged to participate in the Third Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Through the joint efforts of the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and Ayala Property Management Corporation (APMC), the ceremonial pressing of the button for the NSED will be held at 1:00 p.m. This will be followed by the nationwide ceremonial pressing of the button at 2:00 p.m., signaling the start of Duck, Cover, and Hold.

Join the earthquake drill to familiarize yourself with proper safety procedures and be better prepared in the event of an earthquake.

EXPANDED FREE COLLEGE LAW, NILAGDAAN NA NI PANGULONG MARCOS JR.! 🎓🇵🇭

Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Republic Act No. 12325 o ang “Act Enhancing the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act,” na nagpapalawak ng access sa tertiary education at educational assistance para sa mas maraming Pilipino.

Sa ilalim ng pinalawak na batas, bibigyang-prayoridad sa Tertiary Education Subsidy ang mga mag-aaral mula sa 4Ps households. Dagdag na suporta rin ang inilaan para sa students with disabilities at iba pang disadvantaged students, kabilang ang mga kumukuha ng technical-vocational education.

Sa pamamagitan nito, mas maraming kabataan mula sa vulnerable at disadvantaged families ang magkakaroon ng pagkakataong maipagpatuloy ang kanilang pag-aaral at makakuha ng kaalaman at kasanayang makakatulong sa kanilang kinabukasan.
