The United Architects of the Philippines – South Cotabato Koronadal Chapter (UAP-SCKC) paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Pedro M. Matinong, Jr. this morning, August 18, 2026, for a Coordination Meeting on Architectural Practice and Regulatory Processes pursuant to Republic Act No. 9266, or the Architecture Act of 2004.

The UAP-SCKC delegation was led by Chapter President Ar. Arnie May B. Vilda-Angeles, together with Ar. Nibelyn Labrillazo-Catalan, Ar. Phem T. Vego, Ar. Andrew S. Guadalupe, Ar. Gerald A. Clarete, and Ar. Rainer Villanueva and all members of the UAP-SCKC.

The engagement focused on strengthening coordination with the LGU on professional architectural practice, permitting and regulatory processes, and the responsibilities of architects in promoting public welfare and a quality built environment.

This initiative forms part of UAP-SCKC’s continuing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to Let Architecture Be Known to the Public through professional awareness, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful engagement with local government and communities.

General Monthly Meeting
Fiscal Year 2026–2027

The UAP South Cotabato–Koronadal Chapter successfully conducted its 1st General Monthly Meeting for FY 2026–2027, bringing together chapter members to discuss important updates, upcoming activities, and plans for the fiscal year.

The meeting also served as a venue to strengthen collaboration among members and reaffirm the chapter’s commitment to professional excellence, service, and fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a productive meeting. We look forward to another meaningful and successful year together.
