Celebrating Leadership & Unity✨

The UAP District D1B Joint Induction & Turnover Ceremony 2025 was successfully held last August 31, 2025 at the Grand Summit Hotel, General Santos City.

It was an inspiring evening that brought together leaders and members from the Cotabato Chapter, SOCCSKSARGEN Chapter, South Cotabato–Koronadal Chapter, and General Santos Chapter, all united in the shared vision of advancing the profession of architecture in our region.

Happy 7th Anniversary to the United Architects of the Philippines – South Cotabato Koronadal Chapter! 🎉

Since 2018, UAP-SCKC has been dedicated to promoting the architecture profession and showing how it can make a real difference in our communities, not just in Koronadal, but throughout South Cotabato and beyond.

Some of our proudest moments over the years include receiving national awards, helping reopen the BS Architecture program at Notre Dame of Marbel University, and being officially accredited as a Civil Society Organization in Koronadal City in 2024.

Thank you to all the members and partners who’ve been part of this journey. Here’s to more years of purpose, progress, and passion in the field of architecture.

UAP South Cotabato - Koronadal Chapter – 1st Council Meeting and Planning Session

The UAP South Cotabato - Koronadal Chapter successfully conducted its 1st Council Meeting and Planning Session on July 26 at Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City.

The agenda included the President’s Report, initial presentations from executive officers and committee heads, and discussions on upcoming chapter projects and initiatives. Key topics also involved a review of the Chapter’s Bylaws, internal guidelines, and the proposed calendar of activities for Fiscal Year 2025–2026.

This session served as a platform to align leadership goals, foster collaboration, and set a clear direction for a well-organized and purpose-driven term.

More than a meeting, it’s a commitment to leadership.
As UAP members, we are not just participants; we are stewards of ethics, service, and innovation. We plan with purpose, lead with intention, and move the profession forward.

The Technocon 2025 Mindanao event, held at the City of Koronadal City Hall Lobby, March 29, 2025(Saturday) was a resounding success, bringing together a vibrant mix of architects, architecture students, and other participants with a keen interest in the field. The event was hosted by the UAP South Cotabato-Koronadal Chapter, and it showcased an impressive gathering of professionals and enthusiasts alike.
The highlight of the Mindanao leg of the conference was the insightful talk by Mr.
Christian Valeen Chiu. His session, which focused on the transformative potential of underground cabling in the development of smart cities, captivated the audience.
Chiu's presentation underscored how underground cabling plays a crucial role in improving urban efficiency, sustainability, and safety-important pillars in modern city planning
This event was part of a larger, simultaneous nationwide conference with speakers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao sharing their expertise on various aspects of urban development, technology, and design. The diverse range of topics and the inclusion of multiple locations added a dynamic, cross-regional exchange of ideas, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration among professionals from different areas.
As we look ahead, Technecon 2025 Mindanao has set a high benchmark for future events, proving that collaboration and innovation in architecture and urban development are essential for shaping the cities of tomorrow.
