The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has updated its Flexible Work Arrangement policy, providing clearer guidelines for the government's four-day compressed workweek.

The revisions offer agencies more scheduling flexibility to support employee well-being and office efficiency, without compromising continuous public service.

The resolution takes effect retroactively from 6 March 2026, aligning it with Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 114 to ensure administrative consistency.

The public is advised to exercise caution and verify the identity of anyone claiming to be a CSC official or employee before responding to any request or entering any transaction.

To verify the legitimacy of any communication or request, please contact the concerned CSC Regional Office or Field Office through its official communication channels.

The CSC strongly condemns fraudulent misrepresentation.

Due to the recent earthquake and its aftershocks that hit Sarangani Province and General Santos City areas, we would like to inform you that the August 09, 2026 Career Service Examinations - Pen and Paper Test in these areas is RESCHEDULED on 11 October 2026 in the new venue, that is Koronadal City. You will receive an email on your assigned Testing Venue one week before the rescheduled date.
