DILG XII Conducts Final Inspection of LGSF-SBDP FY 2025 Projects in T’boli

The DILG Regional Office XII, in coordination with the DILG South Cotabato Provincial Office, conducted a final inspection of completed projects under the Local Government Support Fund–Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) FY 2025 in T’boli, South Cotabato, on October 1, 2026.

The inspection covered the completed Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) and Level II Potable Water Supply System, each funded with an allocation of ₱2.5 million per beneficiary barangay. The activity was undertaken with representatives from the LGU Engineering Office and project contractor to assess the completed projects and verify compliance with approved plans, technical specifications, and applicable standards.

The completed projects are expected to improve community accessibility, support the movement of agricultural products, and provide residents with better access to safe and reliable water services, contributing to improved local services and community well-being.

In adherence to the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII thru Project Development Management Unit (PDMU) together with the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC) of Sultan Kudarat conducted the Joint Final Inspection of completed infrastructure subprojects under the Local Government Support Fund – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU) FY 2025 in the Province of Sultan Kudarat on September 17–18, 2026.

The joint technical assessment covered critical public infrastructure aimed at improving connectivity and providing conducive public facilities across Sultan Kudarat, specifically:
• Local Access Roads (Lutayan):
o Construction of Concrete Road at Barangay Sisiman, Lutayan
o Construction of Concrete Road at Barangay Maindang, Lutayan
• Multi-Purpose Building (Kalamansig):
o Construction of School Gymnasium at Artemio L. Martin Integrated School, Kalamansig

The final inspection ensures that all completed civil works strictly conform to approved plans, technical specifications, structural integrity benchmarks, and government procurement standards before official turnover and operational use.

Through programs such as the LGSF-FALGU, the DILG remains resolute in assisting Local Government Units in delivering high-impact, resilient infrastructure that directly enhances public safety, socio-economic mobility, and overall community well-being.

𝗟𝗥𝗕𝗜𝗣 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀

September 9–10, 2026 — DILG Regional and Field Office personnel, particularly from the Technical Engineering (TE) and Project Evaluation Officer (PEO) teams, together with representatives from the four Provincial Offices (POs) , participated in the LRBIP Network Performance Assessment and System Alignment cm Project Development Management Update and Refresher Course.

The two-day activity focused on assessing network performance, aligning systems and processes, and refreshing participants on project development and management practices to strengthen project planning, implementation, monitoring, and delivery.

The activity reinforced the importance of strong coordination, system alignment, and consistent project management toward improved project outcomes.

Better project delivery starts with better planning—and that includes planning how we document, track, and report every accomplishment.

The four Project Offices (POs) are strengthening a unified approach to project documentation and monthly reporting, ensuring that important developments from the field are captured, organized, and reflected in the Regional picture.

From planning what to capture, documenting key milestones, consolidating accomplishments, and validating reports, every step is designed to make information more timely, accurate, and useful.

More than just reports and photographs, documentation becomes a tool for monitoring progress, identifying challenges, recognizing accomplishments, and guiding better decisions.

With the four POs moving in one direction and the Regional level working from one standard, we strengthen not only our reporting system—but ultimately, the delivery of projects and services to communities.

LOOK! | Final Inspection of Completed School Building in Brgy. Bual, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat

The DILG Regional Office XII spearheaded the conduct of the Final Inspection of the completed project under the Local Government Support Fund – Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) Unprogrammed Appropriation (UA) FY 2024—the Construction of School Building (2 Classrooms) in Brgy. Bual, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

Under the LGSF-SBDP UA FY 2024, each beneficiary barangay was allocated ₱5,000,000.00 for the implementation of its identified development project.

The activity was spearheaded by the DILG Regional Office XII, together with the assigned Technical Engineer and Project Evaluation Officer from the DILG Provincial Office. Representatives from the LGU Engineering Office and the project contractor were also present during the inspection.

The School Principal and teachers likewise joined the activity and expressed their excitement and anticipation to finally use the newly completed classrooms. Their enthusiasm reflects the importance of the project in providing learners with additional, safe, and conducive spaces for learning.

More than just a completed infrastructure, the ₱5,000,000.00 allocation represents a significant government investment in education and in the future of the learners of Brgy. Bual.

Through the LGSF-SBDP, government resources are translated into tangible projects that respond to the needs of communities and help create better opportunities for their constituents.
