DILG XII and DTI RAPID Growth Project Lead Turn-Over Ceremonies of Completed Farm-to-Market Road Projects in Alamada and Bagumbayan**
On May 18–19, 2026, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region XII (DILG XII), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) RAPID Growth Project, jointly attended the Turn-over Ceremonies of completed Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) projects in the municipalities of Alamada and Bagumbayan.
The activities were led by DILG XII Officer-in-Charge Regional Director Samuel A. Camaganacan and DTI XII Regional Director and National Project Coordinating Office (NPCO) Project Director Flora D. Politud-Gabunales, together with Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs), Provincial Development Management Unit (PDMU) Technical Engineers, DTI Regional and Provincial Coordinating Units, and local government officials.
Hosted by Alamada Mayor Jesus N. Sacdalan and Bagumbayan Mayor Elizer B**g David Segura, the ceremonies formally marked the transfer of the completed road projects to the respective Local Government Units (LGUs) and beneficiary communities for proper operation and maintenance.
The completed Farm-to-Market Roads are expected to significantly improve transportation access, strengthen agricultural productivity, enhance market connectivity, and create greater economic opportunities for local farmers and residents. The projects likewise underscore the continued commitment of DILG XII and DTI RAPID Growth Project in supporting inclusive rural development and sustainable local economic growth across Region XII.
