We convened a meeting of the Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation to discuss matters concerning the City’s financial planning, budgeting, and development priorities.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review important matters requiring appropriate legislative action and to ensure that budgetary concerns are carefully considered in support of the programs and priorities of the City Government of Koronadal.

Had a discussion with the concerned offices regarding updates on several matters concerning the City of Koronadal.

Among the matters discussed were the updates on the Satellite Market operations and the status of the Multipurpose Gymnasium, as well as other related concerns.

These regular discussions and updates help us stay informed about ongoing developments and better understand the current status of matters that concern our city and our constituents.

The committee deliberated on matters concerning the Supplemental Annual Investment Plans of the City of Koronadal, including CDC Resolution Nos. 43 and 45, Series of 2026, which were endorsed to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for appropriate legislative action.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss other matters within the committee’s mandate, ensuring that financial and budget-related concerns are carefully reviewed before proceeding through the legislative process.

As Chairperson, I remain committed to responsible deliberation, transparency, and ensuring that every matter entrusted to the committee is given the proper attention it deserves.

Another productive day at the Sangguniang Panlungsod as we held the 64th Regular Session of the 9th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Koronadal City.

The regular sessions remain an important part of our work as public servants providing a venue to discuss matters affecting our city, listen to different perspectives, deliberate on proposed measures, and ensure that concerns brought before the Council are given proper attention.

As we continue with our legislative responsibilities, we remain committed to working with our fellow members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the City Government in advancing measures that respond to the needs of our constituents and contribute to the continued development of Koronadal.

Every session is another opportunity to listen, deliberate, and do our part in serving our fellow Koronadaleños.
