Maimbung National High School – Main successfully conducted its Joint Moving-Up and Graduation Rites 2026, anchored on the theme, “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character”.

The ceremony was graced by Guest Speaker Sir Hji Kiram K. Irilis, represented by Division Reading Coordinator Sir Hijo M. Ammad who formally confirmed the completers and graduates, and Ma’am Langka A. Arsad, Ed.D., who conveyed the message of the Schools Division Superintendent.

Maimbung NHS also recognizes JCI-Jolo and Notre Dame of Jolo College for conferring Awards to our deserving students.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lihdung Elementary School, headed by Ma’am Hashima Nasarani, for generously providing the venue and sound system. Sincere appreciation is likewise given to the Maimbung LGU, led by Mayor Shihla A. Tan–Hayudini, as well as to Barangay Captain Salbi Sarri of Barangay Kulasi for the provision of medals. The school also acknowledges the invaluable support of stakeholders, uniformed personnel, and parents in making the event a success.

Above all, we express our deepest appreciation to our School Principal, Sir Isnaji S. Siraji, Ed.D., whose unwavering leadership and dedication made the event truly meaningful and successful. Magsukul, Sir!

The school also commends the emcees, Ma’am Celine Sajidin and Ma’am Nur-in Bari, for their poise and efficiency in facilitating the program.

In line with the implementation of Safer Internet Day (SID) Philippines 2026, Maimbung National High School — Main successfully conducted the activity, proving that our dedication to educate and protect our learners never stops despite the absence of electricity, our commitment to raising awareness remained.

This initiative aimed to promote safe, responsible, and positive use of the internet, especially in raising awareness against Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM).

March 12, 2026 || Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

Maimbung NHS - Main actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill to strengthen disaster preparedness and safety awareness among learners and school personnel.

Students, teachers, and staff practiced the proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and followed the designated evacuation protocols to ensure readiness in the event of an earthquake.

Extending our sincere gratitude to our supportive stakeholders, especially Hon. Salbi Sarri the Barangay Chairman of Barangay Kulasi, and uniformed personnel who helped us initiate and facilitate this important activity, guiding the school community in promoting disaster preparedness and safety.

Joint Career Guidance and Work Immersion Culminating Activity 2026 ✨

On March 12, 2026, the school successfully conducted the Joint Career Guidance and Work Immersion Culminating Activity for the Grade 12 learners, highlighting their achievements and aspirations as they prepare for their future careers.

The program featured Parade of Professions, where all Grade 12 learners proudly showcased the uniforms representing their chosen careers and dreams.

Following the parade, the learners were recognized for completing their Work Immersion Program through the distribution of Certificates of Completion. In addition, the TVL learners proudly received their NC-II Certificates, marking an important milestone in their technical skills and readiness for employment. A special recognition of Best in Work Immersion, was also proudly awarded to Ms. Alina Nurulla for her exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment throughout the Work Immersion Program.

After the recognition, the judges selected 15 participants based on the criteria given who proceeded to the Question and Answer Portion, where learners confidently shared their knowledge, insights, and passion for their chosen professions.

Awards were then given to outstanding participants including:

The school also extends its heartfelt felicitations and gratitude to our esteemed judges Nur-Idayu Julkanain, Ma’am Rasina Jaiyadi Julisan, and Ma’am Ebilina Undin, who were awarded Certificates of Appreciation and tokens for their valuable time and support.

Special thanks are also given to the Work Immersion teacher, Ma’am Parlatajerem J. Nasiri, for initiating and organizing this meaningful activity, as well as to the advisers Ma’am Hja Ittihara Misuari, Sir Mukdir Arih, and Ma’am Sampaguita Alihuddin for their continuous guidance and support. Our sincere appreciation is also extended to our supportive School Principal Sir Isnaji S. Siraji for the encouragement that made this event possible. Senior High School (SHS) learners of Maimbung NHS — Main embark on a journey of real-world learning through their Work Immersion Program, guided by Ma’am Parlatajerem J. Nasiri, Ma’am Hja. Ittihara Misuari, Maam Sampaguita J. Alihuddin, and Sir Mukdir Arih.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners for opening their doors and providing our learners with valuable practical experiences through the following institutions headed by: Sir Benjo D. Sulay and the RHU Maimbung Municipal Health Officer Dr. Almusaidi A. Karay, Sir Nickmar Asjali — LYDO President of Maimbung Municipality, Ma’am Hashima Nasarani — School Head of Lihdung Elementary School, and Maam Tina Asdi, RM of Barangay Health Center, Kulasi, Maimbung, Sulu.
