READY AND RESILIENT
Yubo National High School
18 June 2026

Today, June 18, 2026, the teachers and students of Yubo National High School actively participated in the Second Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). As the alarm sounded, the entire school community successfully demonstrated the standard "Duck, Cover, and Hold" protocol, proving that disaster readiness is a top priority in our classrooms. The drill highlighted our collective commitment to creating a safe, resilient environment where everyone knows exactly what to do when the ground shakes.

Following the simulation, Ma'am Artchel May Loctom, our School DRRM Alternate, delivered an insightful short talk on earthquake preparedness. She emphasized that safety doesn't end when the drill is over; rather, continuous vigilance, proper emergency planning, and knowing our evacuation routes are key to saving lives. Thank you to all the educators and learners for your serious commitment to today’s exercise.

Remember, Yubo NHS: Bida ang Handa!
