𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: PCOL RESTITUTO V ARCANGEL, Chief, Crime Research and Analysis Center, Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM), graced the opening ceremony of the 4-day DIDM Nationwide Validation held at the 4th Floor Function Hall, Legislative Building in Benguet Provincial Capitol, La Trinidad, Benguet, on September 12, 2023.
Physically present during the ceremony were PCOL CHARLES DOMALLIG, the Chief Regional Intelligence and Detective Management Division (RIDMD); all Provincial Directors of the different Police Provincial Offices (PPO); the City Director of Baguio City Police Office (CPO); all Chiefs of Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Division of the different PPOs; and the Chief of City Investigation and Detective Management Division of Baguio City; Chief of the Highway Patrol Group; Chief of the PNP-Philippine Drug Enforcement Group; Chief of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit; Chief of the Aviation Security Group; and the Chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
Other attendees were the Chief of Police (COP) of the different police stations of Abra PPO, Apayao PPO, Ifugao PPO, Mountain Province PPO, and Kalinga PPO, while the COP of Baguio CPO and Benguet PPO attended via an online conferencing platform.
PCOL ARCANGEL, delivered the speech of PMGEN ERIC E NOBLE, the Director for Investigation and Detective Management, to all the attendees, where he praised the selfless efforts, expertise, and passion that each investigator continuously gave to the investigation programs of the PNP.
Additionally, in his message, PMGEN NOBLE encouraged the PNP Cordillera to keep the mandate of pride and honor to serve and protect the Cordillerans, and he commended the men and women of the Police Regional Office Cordillera as they continue to have the least number of complaints and administrative cases of all the Regional Offices of the PNP nationwide.
The 4-day annual DIDM Nationwide Validation 2023 aims to ensure that PRO Cordillera is performing its mandated tasks, including overseeing the performance of all investigation units, disseminating relevant investigative policies, and checking, ensuring, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data being generated by the Crime Information Reporting and Analysis System (CIRAS).
