A heartfelt thank you to the Solo Parents Association, Womenโ€™s Association of Barangay Ambiong, Barangay Health Workers, and SPTA Officers for generously volunteering their time and effort in painting the newly installed safety grills of our school.

Your dedication and spirit of volunteerism have greatly contributed to enhancing the safety and appearance of our school for the benefit of all learners, personnel, and visitors.

We also extend our appreciation to the SPTA for providing the paint and other necessary supplies through the SPTA Fund, making this meaningful project possible.

The La Trinidad Municipal Police Station successfully conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign for the learners of Ambiong National High School on July 2โ€“3, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, immediately after class dismissal.

The activity aimed to educate and raise awareness among students on important topics such as:
โœ… Anti-Bullying Awareness
โœ… Illegal Drugs Prevention and Awareness
โœ… Local Ordinances and Community Regulations

Through interactive discussions and informative presentations, the police personnel emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and drug-free school environment. Students were encouraged to become responsible citizens, uphold good conduct, and actively contribute to building a peaceful and law-abiding community.

We extend our gratitude to the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station for sharing their time, knowledge, and expertise in guiding our learners toward positive decision-making and responsible citizenship.

SECOND QUARTER NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL 2026

Ambiong National High School successfully participated in the Second Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote safety awareness.The NSED was actively participated by 283 learners,13 teachers,2 non-teaching personnel, 4 BLGU representatives,etc.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay LGU of Ambiong, for supporting this activity.

Special thanks to Fixed Visibility Pointโ€“Ambiong for providing traffic management and assistance, helping ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the drill.

Through preparedness, coordination, and community partnership, we continue to build a safer and more resilient Ambiong National High School.

Bridging Discipline and Mental Wellness!

AmbiongNHS successfully ended the opening block with the orientation of Gender Responsive and Non-discriminatory Student Discipline Manual(Grandsdism) followed by the Psychosocial activities to 284 learners.

The orientation of Grandsdism was facilitated by the SSLG adviser Sir Romnick C. Pacio assisted by class advisers and subject teachers.This aims to foster a safe, inclusive, and equitable school environment by shifting from punitive punishments to positive discipline.In addition,psychosocial activities were provided by the teachers to promote emotional well-being,social connection,and stress management of the learners.

The success of the opening block was a joint effort and collaboration of the school head,teachers,learners,parents, BLGU of Ambiong,stakeholders and the community.

Evaluating today to elevate tomorrow!

Today, as part of the opening block, Ambiong NHS had the Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (PHIL-IRI) for Junior High School (Grades 7-10) which aims to evaluate learners reading proficiency and comprehension in both English and Filipino. It will guide teachers in crafting targeted reading interventions and tracking literacy progress throughout the academic year.

The PHIL-IRI is administered in four distinct phases to determine a learnerโ€™s independent, instructional, and frustration reading levels. Teachers had the Group Screening Test(GST) in all grade level as the initial baseline testing before administering graded passage (pre-test). The pre-test results will be the bases for those learners who will undergo remediation/ the ARAL Program. In addition,post test evaluation will be administered near the end of the school year to measure studentโ€™s reading growth and evaluate the effectiveness of the reading interventions.
