University of the Cordilleras Student Nurses and Dedicated Instructors Empower Learners at Bineng National High School

Bineng, La Trinidad, Benguet – February 10, 2026
Student nurses from the University of the Cordilleras, together with their dedicated instructors, inspired learners at Bineng National High School through a program that combined wellness and emergency care training.

The event began with a lively dance exercise session to promote fitness and fun, followed by an IEC on emergency care procedures. Learners gained practical knowledge on safe lifting and carrying techniques and airway obstruction management, equipping them with vital skills for real-life situations.

On behalf of Bineng National High School, heartfelt gratitude is extended to the University of the Cordilleras student nurses and dedicated instructors for their commitment, for being valuable partners in the learners’ growth and education, and for their continuous support in shaping the future of the students.

BiNHS GPTA Meeting 2026: Strengthening Bonds and Building a Brighter Future Together

On February 9, 2026, BiNHS held its GPTA meeting where parents, guardians, teachers, and school leaders gathered to discuss key matters including Brigada Eskwela and Brigada Plus, the Search for Mr. & Ms. BiNHS 2026, graduation preparations, sanction fees, uniforms for next school year, the financial report, and the giving of grades through homeroom meetings. Parents and guardians also shared concerns, making the gathering a meaningful exchange of ideas.

We warmly welcomed our new Guidance Associate, Filipino Teacher, and Security Guard, who play vital roles in guiding, teaching, and keeping our school safe. BiNHS extends heartfelt gratitude to our PTA officers, parents, and guardians for their time, effort, and unending support. Truly, BiNHS is stronger because of YOU! 💙

The Benguet State University–College of Nursing successfully conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Program on Health-Related Issues and Disaster Preparedness at Bineng National High School, equipping learners with essential knowledge on health protection and emergency readiness.

The activity promoted preventive health practices, disaster awareness, and student preparedness, while supporting the implementation of DepEd programs through strong stakeholder collaboration.

Bineng, La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines — Bineng National High School recently held a two-day recollection for students from Grades 7 to 10 on December 16–17, 2025, at the Grade 10 classroom.

The event was led by Rev. Fr. Manny G. Flores, who facilitated reflective talks and prayer sessions designed to deepen the students’ faith, nurture their values, and foster greater self-awareness.

Bineng — December 12, 2025 — The afternoon calm at Bineng National High School was briefly interrupted today as teachers, students, and faculty staff carried out a coordinated earthquake drill at exactly 1:00 p.m. Fresh from their lunch break, everyone quickly shifted from casual conversations to practiced safety movements—duck, cover, and hold.

The drill was conducted to prepare the school community should another earthquake occur. Teachers guided students with steady voices, staff took their assigned posts, and learners moved with surprising focus, reminding everyone that preparedness is a shared responsibility.

School officials highlighted that regular drills help reduce panic, promote safety awareness, and build confidence during real emergencies.

At BiNHS, safety isn’t just a requirement—it's a commitment the entire campus stands behind.

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake was felt at Bineng National High School around 10:30AM. Despite the sudden tremor, both learners and teachers remained calm and followed safety protocols.

The earthquake occurred during class hours, prompting the immediate implementation of the school's emergency preparedness measures. Teachers guided students to stay composed and take cover under desks or move to designated evacuation areas, as necessary.

No injuries or damages were reported within the school premises. The administration commended the entire school community for their discipline and readiness in responding to the situation.
