This afternoon, the Office of the Vice Mayor was pleased to welcome Punong Barangay Paul M. Bacuso of Barangay Alapang for a productive courtesy call and consultation meeting with Vice Mayor Atty. Guiller A. Galwan.

The discussion centered on aligning barangay resolutions and optimizing council meetings to ensure local legislation continues to serve the best interests of our community. A very productive morning at the Office of the Vice Mayor, led by Atty. Guiller A. Galwan, alongside the esteemed members of our Municipal Council—Honorables Belmer G. Elis, Tyrone T. Diaz, Richard D. Wacnisen, and Horacio Ramos Jr.—was deeply honored to welcome key leaders and visionaries for a series of courtesy calls early today at the Vice Mayor’s Office and the Sangguniang Bayan Office.

We extended our warmest welcome this morning to Sir Bruce Ganasi from the City of Burnaby, Columbia. Our discussions opened exciting doorways for future collaborations, focusing on critical development initiatives and cultural ties:

Waste Management to Green Programs – Adapting sustainable, innovative ecological solutions for a cleaner, greener La Trinidad.

Adivay Festival & Sisterhood Ties – Deeply exploring cultural celebrations, shared heritage, and ways to elevate our community festivals together.

MOA Signing – Solidifying our commitment to these shared visions through an official Memorandum of Agreement.

​Municipal Vice Mayor Atty. Guiller Galwan spearheaded a vital DOTr Consultation meeting to take the challenges of colorum and non-colorum vehicles head-on. Working hand-in-hand with Municipal Mayor Hon. Roderick C. Awingan and Public Utilities Chair Hon. Tyrone T. Diaz, this dialogue ensured grassroots concerns were front and center, thanks to Liga ng mga Barangay President Jonie S. Puroc and IPMR President Richard Wacnisen.

The Office of the Vice Mayor is proud to back BJMP-CAR’s Project "GANGSA." This wonderful program is dedicated to preparing confined Indigenous Peoples in various correctional facilities for their eventual journey back into society.

During a recent courtesy call, Vice Mayor Atty. Guiller A. Galwan, IPMR President Richard Wacnisen, and Municipal Councilors Tyrone T. Diaz and Jayson Dangwa sat down with BJMP-CAR personnel to map out ways our local government can help champion this cause.

We had the pleasure of hosting artist Eden Cawang at the Vice Mayor's Office. The Vice Mayor and the Sangguniang Bayan are incredibly proud to support her journey, especially following her stunning showcase at HARAMPANG 3 at the Baguio Museum.
