๐๐๐ ๐ฃ ๐๐๐ก๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐ก, ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐๐ถ๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐๐ โ The City Government of Baguio recognized personnel of the 5th Civil-Military Operations (Kabalikat) Battalion (5CMOBn) and 102nd Infantry Battalion (102IB) for their dedicated service during the Guisad Surong landslide response at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Baguio City.
The recognition highlighted the contributions of 5CMOBn and 102IB personnel serving under the operational control of Joint Task Unit โPanagkaykaysaโ (JTUP) and underscored the importance of inter-agency cooperation throughout the operations.
Representing JTUP during the ceremony was First Lieutenant Trison Jeric Aquino, Operations Officer.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Philippine Air Force, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and Barangay Officials of Guisad Surong.
The recognition underscored the collective efforts of government agencies and local responders in the conduct of search and retrieval operations and in providing assistance to affected residents.
The City Government of Baguio, led by Hon. Benjamin Magalong, commended the personnel for their dedication and commitment throughout the operations.
The recognition reflected the spirit of โPanagkaykaysa,โ emphasizing unity, cooperation, and collective service to the people.
