π¨ RESCUE OPERATION | July 11, 2026
Amid the continuous heavy rainfall that caused the river to overflow, the Barangay Lower Pulacan Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM), in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), successfully conducted a rescue operation for six (6) stranded individuals, along with four (4) cows and one (1) carabao, who were trapped on an island in the middle of the river due to the rising floodwaters.
Through the teamwork, courage, and swift response of our emergency responders, all stranded persons and animals were safely rescued without reported injuries.
Barangay Lower Pulacan extends its sincere appreciation to the BFP, MDRRMO, and all responders who risked their safety to protect lives during this emergency.
We also remind everyone to remain vigilant, avoid crossing flooded rivers and waterways, and immediately report emergencies to the Barangay or concerned authorities. Your safety is our priority.
