Sugod Abril 6, 2026, ang matag adlaw sa Lunes gitudlo isip Work-From-Home (WFH) sa National Irrigation Administration (NIA), lakip ang mga Irrigation Management Office (IMO) ug Regional Sub-Office (RSO) sa matag probinsiya, subay sa NIA Memorandum Circular No. 34, s. 2026.
Ang maong lakang gituyo aron mapalambo ang makaekonomiya nga paggamit sa enerhiya ug mapakunhod ang mga gasto sa operasyon.

Bisan pa niini, ginapasalig sa NIA-IX ang publiko nga magpadayon nga walay hunong ang mga importanteng serbisyo sa irigasyon, apil ang pagpaabot sa tubig para sa umahan, padayon nga implementasyon sa mga proyekto, ug uban pang mahinungdanong kalihokan sa field.

LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR — Demonstrating its continuing commitment to gender-responsive programs and employee welfare, the National Irrigation Administration- Zamboanga del Sur Irrigation Management Office (NIA ZDSIMO) under the guidance and continued support of NIA Regional Manager Engr June Nathaniel S. Plaza, successfully conducted its National Women’s Month Celebration anchored on the theme “We for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society” and sub-theme of “Lead like Babaylans, Filipinas!” on March 19, 2026.
The activity highlighted the importance of strengthening both the capability and well-being of women personnel as active partners in public service and nation-building. The activity formally opened with a welcome address from Acting Administrative and Finance Section Chief Ma. Melita DC Rivera, who expressed appreciation to all participants—women and men alike—and emphasized that gender equality is a shared responsibility. She further highlighted that empowering women strengthens institutions, workplaces, and communities.
One of the highlights of the activity was the First Aid and Emergency Response Training conducted by Mr. Lloyd Bernardino, Medical Technologist, which enhanced employees’ readiness and responsiveness during emergency situations. This was followed by a Stress Management Awareness Lecture delivered by Ms. Charisse Angelli S. Imperial, Public Health Nurse I of RHU Labangan, which emphasized the importance of maintaining both physical safety and emotional well-being in fostering a productive and supportive work environment. NIA ZDSIMO continues to strengthen its Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives and reaffirms its commitment to an inclusive workplace that recognizes women's contributions and supports their leadership across all areas of service.
