Greetings to the Talobatib High School Community! ☺️

It is with great pride and excitement that we introduce the newly elected officers of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O Club) for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

These leaders, chosen through the voices and votes of our student body, have shown dedication, passion, and a strong commitment to continue the mission of YES-O in protecting the environment and serving our school community.

We sincerely congratulate all the winning candidates on their victory. Your willingness to lead and serve is truly appreciated, and we look forward to the positive initiatives and actions you will bring in the coming months.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the students who participated in the election process. Whether you ran for a position or cast your vote, your participation played an important role in making this election meaningful for our organization.

To all the candidates who bravely stepped forward to run for office, your effort, ideas, and dedication are greatly valued. Every contribution helps strengthen the spirit and purpose of our club.

The official proclamation of winners will be held on Monday, March 16.

May this year bring growth, cooperation, and positive change as we continue working together to strengthen the legacy of YES-O at Talobatib High School.

Good day, everyone!

Please be informed that the Campaign Period and Election Day that were originally scheduled on March 3 and 4 will not push through due to other school activities that occurred at the same time.

The new schedule will be on March 9 and 10.

March 9 – Campaign Period ( 1:00 pm )

The campaign period will be titled “Hamon ng Kalikasan.” During this event, the parties will introduce themselves and present their platforms. They will also be given questions that they need to answer regarding their plans and advocacies.

March 10 – Election Day

The Election Day will be conducted through online voting.

Step forward and become the next environmental trailblazer of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) at Talobatib High School for School Year 2026–2027.

This election is more than just the selection of officers—it is a movement that empowers students to protect nature, strengthen environmental awareness, and create sustainable change within our school and community.

We seek individuals who are driven by passion, guided by integrity, and motivated to take action. Future YES-O officers must demonstrate responsibility, initiative, and a strong commitment to environmental programs that promote cleanliness, conservation, and climate awareness.

Leadership in YES-O requires vision and accountability. It calls for students who can turn ideas into action!! 💚🌿

We will also take this opportunity to thank to the teachers who was part of the event, specially to the two teachers who guided and supported us throughout the event ma'am Lhezel Villaflores and ma'am Julie Parena to Sir Romel Ramos and Ma'am Maiden Timola and thankyou also to our supportive school principal Ma'am Joan Malaluan and to all the students who demonstrated their creativity and talent throughout the Science Month celebration. 💚

SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION 2025

Theme: "SPATIALYZE: Surveying societies, sensing Sulotions."

Activities:

1. Infographic Making- Each grade level must have at least one (1) pair of representatives who will create an infographic.
• the topic will be the theme of this celebration

2. Quiz Bee- A guest speaker will first give a discussion about Early Warning System (EWS).
The quiz questions will all be based on this discussion. Each grade level is required to form one (1) team with five (5) members.

3. Water Filter Making- Each grade level can have up to ten (10) members in their team. They will create a simple water filtering device to promote water reuse.
•The water will be provided by YES-O club
• All participants must know and memorize the materials used and the step by step process.

4. Designing of Early Warning System (EWS)- Each grade level can have five (5) to ten (10) members in their team. The task is to design a simple early warning system model or prototype that shows how communities can prepare for natural hazards emergencies.
•All participants are required to listen to the speaker's discussion about the early warning system. This will allow participants to come up with ideas and gain more knowledge about the creation of an early warning system. After the discussion, the competition will begin.

5. E-Fasion- This event is open to all students of Talobatib High School. Participants will design and present creative fashion pieces made from electronic wastes.
• E stands for Electronic Waste
• Each participant will be given the opportunity to choose what item or clothing they will make to model, but it must be made only from unused electronic devices.
• Each participants will prepare self introduction and quotes about environment.
