PROJECT KUDAL BRINGS GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE CLOSER TO THE COMMUNITY IN LUCBANAN
CAMP BUSIG-ON, Camarines Norte — The 2nd Civil-Military Operations (KASANGGA) Company of the 9th Civil-Military Operations Battalion joined the humanitarian assistance and community engagement activity conducted in Barangay Lucbanan, Capalonga, Camarines Norte, on August 15, 2026, as part of Project KUDAL of the 902nd Infantry Brigade, in coordination with the 42nd Infantry Battalion and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Project KUDAL is aimed at bringing government assistance closer to communities, addressing the needs of the people, and strengthening collaboration among government agencies, security forces, and local communities. The activity provided an opportunity to extend immediate assistance to residents while promoting stronger community partnership and cooperation in support of peace, security, and development.
As part of its participation, the 2nd CMO Company, led by 1st Lt. Maria Roquesa Serrano, Acting Company Commander, facilitated fun games for children, a photobooth and static display, and the distribution of information leaflets on the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP). These engagements served as avenues to interact with residents, promote awareness of government programs, and strengthen rapport between the community and government security forces.
The participation of the 2nd CMO Company highlighted the (KASANGGA) spirit of being present and responsive to the needs of the people. Through Project KUDAL, the 902nd Infantry Brigade, together with its partner units and agencies, continues to foster meaningful engagement with communities and strengthen the collective efforts toward lasting peace, security, and development.
