Lagangilang Central School hosted the CID District TARABAY ABRENIO INTERFACE bringing together the CID team, headed by CHIEF HEDWIG BELMES along with EDUCATION SUPERVISORS and school heads of LAGANGILANG and SALLAPADAN DISTRICTS. The interface provided a meaningful venue for the different EPS to share important updates, announcements and policies in their respective areas. A productive day if learning, sharing and moving forward together.

🦷✨ Dental Check-Up for Our Young Learners! ✨🦷
Our school welcomed the Division Dentist, Dr. Maricar Taberdo for a dental check-up and inspection of the teeth of our Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners. This activity promotes good oral health and helps ensure that our young learners maintain healthy and happy smiles. 😊🪥

This is to highlight and preserve this memorable event celebrated yesterday. It is with great honor that in Lagangilang, we achieved 23 out of 24 passers in the A&E Exam! Yesterday, these successful learners officially graduated and received their well-deserved diplomas. Lagangilang Central School family is so proud of you! 🎓✨

This achievement proves that determination and hard work can overcome any challenge. It also gives well-deserved recognition to our ALS teachers, ma'am Mariel Carbonel and ma'am Julie May Tamo, honoring all the effort, patience, guidance, and dedication they invested to make this milestone possible. ALS Monitoring & Technical Assistance 📋

Sir Reynaldo Calinap , ALS EPS visited the school to verify the current head count of ALS learners, review attendance and extend technical support and guidance to our ALS teachers ma'am Mariel M. Carbonel and ma'am Julie May M. Tamo. This ensures we stay aligned with standards and deliver effective learning opportunities for every out-of-school children, youth and adult learner. Prioritizing both learning and safety!

To safeguard the instructional block, concepts on earthquake preparedness and appropriate responses to other calamities were integrated into various learning areas before the conduct of the 2nd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at 9:00 AM today. Learners and school personnel then actively participated in the actual demonstration of emergency preparedness measures, practicing the proper actions to take during earthquakes and other emergencies.
Through continuous learning and preparedness, our school remains committed to building a culture of safety, resilience, and readiness among all learners.

Lagangilang Central School successfully implemented the Opening Block Activities for School Year 2026–2027 in accordance with DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026. Through the collaborative efforts of the school personnel and stakeholders, the planned activities were carried out smoothly and effectively.
Among the activities conducted were learners' orientation, classroom routines and expectations, school policies and safety protocols, health and wellness advocacy, administration of various assessments to determine learners' readiness and learning needs, and other transition activities designed to ensure a positive and meaningful start to the school year.
The school also successfully conducted the General PTA Orientation, providing parents and guardians with important information on school programs, policies, learner assessment, child protection, attendance, and ways to actively support their children's education. This activity strengthened the partnership between the school and the community in promoting quality learning outcomes.
With a strong foundation laid during the Opening Block, Lagangilang Central School is ready to face the challenges and opportunities of the new school year, guided by its commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and learner success.
