With the theme โ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐, ๐๐๐
๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐,โ the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) through the Cooperative Enterprise and Development Division of Ifugao held its 6th Provincial Awarding and Recognition Ceremony for Best Performing Organizations at the Capitol on October 8, 2026.
The activity aimed to inspire various organizations across Ifugao to elevate their overall performance, ensure organizational sustainability, and actively contribute to the province's economic growth.
Bringing together representatives from MLGUs, BLGUs, micro-cooperatives, and local stakeholders, the ceremony celebrated 15 participating organizations across 9 municipalities, with endorsed entries for the search, for their outstanding work in management, economic productivity, human resource development, and community service.

In her keynote message, Ms. Regina Elizabeth L. Mammag, DILG Provincial Director, emphasized the value of cooperation among organizations, leadership, and community-driven programs capturing the spirit of her message with the Ifugao mantra: "๐๐ช๐ผ๐ฝ๐ช ๐๐ฏ๐พ๐ฐ๐ช๐ธ, ๐ฑ๐ช๐น๐น๐ ๐ช๐ฝ ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ช๐ต๐ฝ๐ฑ๐!"
Delivering the galvanizing message on behalf of the Provincial Governor, Executive Assistant Nora Dinamling commended the awardees and reaffirmed the PLGU's support for organizations. She acknowledged the services and real livelihood support of the organizations to rural communities, stating, โYour hard work shows that this program is absolutely essential for the survival and progress of Ifugao.โ
A message of support was also delivered by Hon. Martin L. Habawel Jr., represented by his Executive Assistant, Mr. Davis Pulao. In his message, he reaffirmed his continued commitment to local organizations and encouraged everyone to work together toward sustainable community growth.
Further, one of the highlights of the ceremony was the formal recognition of 23 newly converted organizations to micro-cooperatives. This was achieved through the collaborative efforts of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), Municipal Cooperative Development Offices (MCDO), Municipal Agriculture Offices (MAOs) and partner stakeholders.
The program also featured a testimony from Ms. Milagros Dulnuan of the Fruitful Farmers Community Credit Cooperative, the first organization to successfully convert into a cooperative. She emphasized how working together helped them grow from a small group into a larger, thriving organization. She acknowledged that while they faced misunderstandings along the way, their unity and faith to preserving what they built brought them to where they are today.
Response messages were then delivered by Municipal Agricultural Officers Mr. Dabert L. Tayaban (Asipulo) and Dr. Marcelo Banhan (Lagawe). They commended their municipal delegates and urged members to stay driven in growing their organizations.
This ceremony not only served as a platform for municipalities to align their strategic goals, but also strengthened the collaborative efforts of partner agencies toward a happy Ifugao. Such activity is important in sustaining momentum for inclusive growth and maintaining strong partnerships.
