The Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao (CGDNM), under the leadership of COMMO DENNIS REM C LABAY PCG, Commander, CGDNM, conducted its regular Monday Morning Colors and Barracks Inspection today, June 01, 2026, at Headquarters CGDNM. Participated in by Officers and Enlisted Personnel, the activity reaffirmed the Districtโs commitment to discipline, professionalism, and adherence to the core values of the Philippine Coast Guard. The Morning Colors Ceremony served as a solemn occasion to honor the national flag, strengthen esprit de corps, and instill a renewed sense of duty and responsibility among personnel.
Following the ceremony, a comprehensive barracks inspection was conducted to ensure compliance with established standards of cleanliness, orderliness, safety, and accountability within living and working spaces. Such inspections are essential in promoting a culture of discipline and operational excellence, contributing to the overall readiness and effectiveness of Coast Guard personnel.
Through these continuing initiatives, CGDNM upholds the highest standards of service and professionalism, ensuring a capable and responsive workforce dedicated to safeguarding lives, protecting the marine environment, and securing the maritime domain in Northern Mindanao.
