The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Alaguia conducted the distribution of Hygiene Kits to our Kindergarten pupils, promoting the importance of cleanliness and proper personal hygiene at an early age. 🧴🧼

More than just providing basic hygiene essentials, this initiative aims to help our young learners develop healthy habits that they can carry with them as they grow.

Because taking care of oneself starts with the simplest habits, and every child deserves to grow up healthy, clean, and confident.

🎓 ALAG PROGRAM 2026 | PAYOUT COMPLETED! 💚💜

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Alaguia successfully conducted the payout for the ALAG Program 2026 – Alaguia Learning Assistance Grant, providing one-time educational cash assistance to our college students.

A total of 61 college students from Barangay Alaguia received ₱1,000.00 each, amounting to ₱61,000.00 in educational assistance. 📚✨

This initiative is our way of supporting our young people as they pursue their education and reminding them that their community believes in their dreams.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Alaguia is pleased to announce the payout for the ALAG PROGRAM 2026 (Alaguia Learning Assistance Grant) — a One-Time Educational Cash Assistance of ₱1,000.00 for qualified college students of Barangay Alaguia.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

🔹 The official masterlist of beneficiaries will be posted in the comment section of this post. Please check your name before proceeding to the payout.

🔹 Proxy claiming is allowed. If the beneficiary cannot personally claim the assistance, their authorized representative must present:

✍️ Authorization Letter signed by the beneficiary
🪪 Photocopy of a valid ID of the proxy, with signature.

Celebrating our youth through opportunities to learn, read, and grow. 💙📖

As part of the Community Youth Day 2026, SK Alaguia is grateful to have received a generous donation of books and learning materials from Ms. Crissell Khaye Agressor for our SK Mini-Learning Hub.

This initiative forms part of our efforts to continuously improve and enrich our existing learning space, creating a place where children and young people in our community can discover new stories, gain knowledge, and develop a love for reading. 📚✨

We sincerely thank Ms. Crissell Khaye Agressor for sharing her resources with our community. Your generosity is a meaningful contribution to our youth, and we hope these books will find their way into the hands of young readers who need them most.

Sometimes, celebrating the youth does not have to mean grand activities. Sometimes, it can simply mean giving them something to learn from, a space to grow in, and an opportunity to dream a little bigger. 🌱

🏀 COMMUNITY YOUTH DAY 2026 | BASKETBALL FUN MATCH

What a game! 🔥🏀

The Community Youth Day 2026 Basketball Fun Match brought together young athletes from SK Alaguia and SK Tucalana for an exciting afternoon of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and friendly competition.

After a thrilling back-and-forth battle, Team SK Alaguia emerged victorious with a nail-biting 60–59 win! 🏆

The event was made even more meaningful with the presence of our community leaders. Punong Barangay of Alaguia, Hon. Carlino “Bong” Seminiano Jr., opened the activity with his warm welcome address, while Barangay Kagawad of Tucalana, Hon. Reymer Binuya, shared an inspiring message with the participating youth.

More than the final score, this game reminded us that sports bring young people together, build friendships, and strengthen our sense of community. 💚💜

Congratulations to Team SK Alaguia and kudos to Team SK Tucalana for an incredible game! 🏀👏

In celebration of Community Youth Day 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Alaguia is launching a Book Donation Drive to help enrich our existing SK Mini-Learning Hub! 💚💜

Our Mini-Learning Hub is already a space where young people can read, study, and learn. Through this initiative, we hope to expand its collection and make the space even more meaningful and useful for our youth.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Alaguia and Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tucalana come together for a friendly Basketball Exhibition Game as part of Community Youth Day 2026!

Beyond the competition, this game is about building friendships, strengthening camaraderie, and celebrating the energy and potential of our youth.

The deadline for the submission of scholarship requirements is on August 08, 2026 (Saturday), 12:00 NN.

Kindly ensure that all required documents are complete and submitted on or before the deadline. Late submissions may no longer be accepted.

🏆 SK Alaguia | Municipal Quiz Bee 2026 Champion

SK Alaguia emerged as the Champion of the Municipal Quiz Bee 2026, garnering a total of 43 points in a competition that challenged participants' knowledge of the municipal ordinances and resolutions of Lal-lo, Programs, Projects, and Activities of the Municipality, as well as current events from both the municipality and the Philippines.

Representing Barangay Alaguia were Hon. Antoinette C. Laforga, SK Chairperson, and Ms. Sherlene Mae C. Abuan, SK Secretary. Through teamwork, preparation, and a strong grasp of local governance, the duo secured the championship title among participating Katipunan ng Kabataan of Lal-lo.

The Municipal Quiz Bee highlighted the importance of keeping the youth informed on local legislation, municipal initiatives, and national affairs, reinforcing the role of knowledge in effective and responsive public service.

Informed leaders create empowered communities. 💜💚
