The Commander of the 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) LTC EDWIN C GUILLERMO INF (GSC) PA (RES), 1LT GUALBERTO AGATEP JR PA (RES) and Enlisted Personnel conducted "BRIGADA ESKWELA" with the theme "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman" at Allacapan South Central School in the Municipality of Allacapan, Cagayan on 04 June 2026 through the coordination and request of the School Principal III, Mr. Rolando L. Cabutaje, PhD.

The Enlisted Personnel from the BRAVO Company of the 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) conducted "Brigada Eskwela" on 01 June 2026 at Aparri East Central School in the Municipality of Aparri, Cagayan through the request of Principal III, Ms. Maricel D. Dantic, PhD.

The 206th RRIBn with the directive from the Higher Headquarters to support the nationwide voluntarily initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) which is the Brigada Eskwela to clean, repair, prepare public elementary and secondary school right before the start of the new academic year.

The 206th RRIBn is grounded in the traditional Filipino concept of "Bayanihan" (communal unity and cooperation) which is also one of the unit's objective, to help through volunteer effort.

Enlisted Personnel from 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) participated in the 15-day Tactical Combat Casualty Care at 5th Infantry "Star" Division Training School, Camp Melchor F Dela Cruz, Upi, Gamu, Isabela.

Sgt Jimson R Tomas PA (Res) and Sgt Joie B Materum PA (Res) represented the 206 RRIBn in the said Training through the recommendation of 206 RRIBn Commander, LTC EDWIN C GUILLERMO INF (GSC) PA (RES) and the endorsement of 201st Communty Defense Center, 2RCDG, RESCOM, PA as the unit's administrator.

Reservist and regular troops are the attendees of the TC3 Class 01-2026, which is set of prehospital trauma guidelines customized for use on battlefield. The main goal is to reduce preventable deaths while maintaining operational success.

The 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion conducts Markmanship at 17th Infantry "Do or Die" Battalion firing range on 23 May 2026 right after the Mustering of Troops with the supervision and administration of 201st (CAG) Community Defense Center, 2RCDG, RESCOM, PA.

The aims of the Markmanship is for the 206th RRIBn is to be familiarized in handling weapons safely, and perform both combat and civil defense missions.

Moreover, this is in align with the Reserve Force Development Strategy of the AFP which Markmanship is part of that because it builds readiness, reliability, and strategic value.

The 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion conducted Mustering of Troops on 23 May 2026 at the Headquarters 206 RRIBn located at H17 Infantry "Do or Die" Battalion compound, Bangag, Lallo, Cagayan.

The Mustering is spearheaded by no other than the Battalion Commander, LTC EDWIN C GUILLERMO INF (GSC) PA (RES) and the Battalion Staff.

Ltc Guillermo discuss the Task Organizations and Personnel Roster, Range Safety Plan, Working Party Tasking Matrix and Recurring Saturday Training Calendar to the troops for information, reference and guidance.

The 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion headed by LTC EDWIN C GUILLERMO INF (GSC) PA (RES) send Eight (8) Enlisted Personnel to attend the 5-day Platoon Sustainment Training at the Headquarters "Alpha" Company of the 17 Infantry "Do or Die" Battalion in Matucay, Allacapan, Cagayan.

The aims of the training is to maintain the ability of our troops to provide logistics, maintenance, medical, supply, and other support functions under combat conditions.

The integration training of our reservist to the regular troops is the structured process of bringing reservist into such knowledge so they can operate at the same standard, with the same SOPs in times of unit's activation.

The highlights of the Orientation covers the organization, mission and basic operations of the 206th RRIBn.

Moreover, it was emphasized that the reserve unit will be mobilized and trained to support the Armed Forces during national emergencies, disasters, or times of conflict.

The 206th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion headed by LTC EDWIN C GUILLERMO INF (GSC) PA (RES) with MAJ ROMMEL S GAMIAO PA (RES) and MAJ MARICEL C BANGI PA (RES) attended the Coordination Meeting at H201 Community Defense Center, 2RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army at Capitol Compound, Province of Cagayan, Tuguegarao City.

The said meeting spearheaded by no other than the CDC Director, COL FLOYD D GANO INF (GSC) PA, with him are the Executive Officer of 201 CDC and the NCO personnel of the said unit.

Plans had been discussed on the ROTC program implementation, mustering of troops and other related matters.

In attendance also are personnel from the 201st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion headed by LTC JAMES B RODRIGO MNSA (GSC) PA (RES).
