CORONATION OF LGU SAGALAS

The coronation of our Reinas is a tradition as old as the faith that has shaped Lal-lo. Rooted in the Catholic devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the crowning of each Reina is a heartfelt act of homage — each queen representing a figure from Scripture, sacred history, and the rich tapestry of Marian tradition that our community has honored for centuries. To wear the crown is not simply to be celebrated; it is to carry, humbly and beautifully, a symbol of faith that generations before us have passed down with love and reverence.

One by one, our Reinas were presented before Lal-lo — draped in gowns crafted by local hands, adorned with crowns that carried the weight of our heritage and the depth of our faith, and celebrated by a community that showered them with love and pride.

Our queens stand not only as symbols of beauty, but as true ambassadors of our town's rich culture.

CORONATION OF LITTLE SAGALAS

Our hearts melted as the adorable little children of the Barangay Sagalas took center stage for their coronation! Representing the different vibrant barangays of Lal-lo, these young sagalas and constants brought smiles, innocence, and pure joy to the Santacruzan 2026.

The future of our traditions is bright with these little ones keeping our heritage alive. Kudos to the proud parents and barangay officials for supporting our beautiful children!

A NIGHT OF FAITH, BEAUTY, AND TRADITION

The Local Government Unit of Lal-lo, through the Lal-lo Tourism Office and in partnership with the Parroquia de Sto. Domingo de Guzman, successfully held the Santacruzan 2026 Coronation Program last May 31, 2026!

It was an evening filled with grace and devotion as we honored our traditions and celebrated the unity of the Lal-loqueño community.

Thank you to everyone who made this spectacular event possible—from our dedicated organizers to the supportive families and spectators.

The Entrance of the Sagalas

When the music swelled and the first sagala stepped forward, something shifted in the air. The crowd hushed. Phones went up. Eyes glistened. Because what was coming down that path was not just a parade of beautiful young women in stunning gowns — it was the living, breathing soul of a community that has kept its faith and its traditions alive, generation after generation.

The young women of Lal-lo who wore their gowns, designed by the hands of their own townmates, with the kind of grace that only comes from knowing what you represent. They were not simply walking in a pageant. They were carrying a story centuries in the telling, stepping into a role that women of Lal-lo have filled with beauty and faith long before any of them were born.

Behind them came the little Reinas, some barely old enough to fully grasp the significance of the crown they wore, yet carrying it with a quiet dignity that moved every heart in the crowd. They were dressed in the colors of devotion, each one representing a figure of faith, of history, of sacred memory — a reminder that this tradition, at its core, is an act of love. Love for the Blessed Virgin. Love for the heritage that our ancestors entrusted to us. Love for the community that gathers every year, without fail, to celebrate both.

Together — the little ones and the young women, the barangays of Lal-lo united in a single procession — they reminded everyone watching that heritage is not something kept in a museum. It lives in the community.

Santacruzan 2026: Pagdiriwang ng Pananampalataya at Pamana

Inaanyayahan po namin ang buong komunidad na samahan kami sa pagdiriwang ng Santacruzan 2026 ngayong darating na Linggo, Mayo 31, 2026 sa Parroquia de Sto. Domingo de Guzman.

Ang pagtitipong ito ay isang gabi ng pasasalamat at pagkilala sa ating mayamang kultura at debosyon.

Narito ang mga sumusunod na aktibidad at oras:
3:00 PM – Banal na Misa (Holy Mass)
3:45 PM – Programa ng Koronasyon (Coronation Program)
6:00 PM – Prusisyon ng mga Sagala (Procession of Sagalas)
