Mapapanood ang Mag-Agri Tayo tuwing Linggo, 9:00–9:30 ng umaga, sa PTV Channel 4.

𝐀 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐃𝐈-𝐁𝐅𝐑𝐃𝐂!

The NFRDI-BFRDC partook in the 67th Araw ng Lanao del Norte through our first-ever booth at the Agri-Aqua & Livestock Fair on July 1, 2026, MCC Agora, Tubod, Lanao del Norte. It aims to bring fisheries research and science-based innovations closer to our communities and strengthen partnerships for sustainable fisheries.

The booth featured fisheries technologies, research outputs, books, and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, giving the general public the opportunity to learn more about our programs and services. We also distributed brochures and gave exclusive NFRDI merchandise such as tote bags, commemorative mugs, and foldable fans as simple tokens of appreciation to students, researchers, fisherfolk, and everyone who stopped by and took the time to connect with us through our interactive trivia games.

The Department of Agriculture - National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (DA-NFRDI) has once again received an "Unmodified Opinion” from the Commission on Audit (COA) for Fiscal Year 2025, marking the sixth consecutive year of this highest audit rating.

An “unmodified opinion” signifies that NFRDI’s financial statements are presented fairly and in accordance with applicable financial reporting frameworks. This consistent recognition underscores the Institute’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance in public financial management.

“Receiving an Unmodified Opinion for the sixth consecutive year affirms that good governance is not a one-time achievement, but a sustained commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial management. We accept this recognition with humility, knowing that excellence is earned through hard work and an unwavering commitment to do even better each year,” said NFRDI Executive Director Maria Theresa Mutia. # # #
