DSWD Field Office XII and the Local Government Unit of Lambayong successfully conducted the distribution of Family Food Packs (FFPs) to affected families in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.

The relief distribution was carried out through the bayanihan spirit and collaborative efforts of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII, headed by Regional Director Loreto V. Cabaya Jr., together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) under the leadership of Mayor Francis Eric E. Recinto, as well as the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), whose personnel provided assistance in ensuring the orderly and safe distribution of relief goods.

The Family Food Packs were provided to residents of Barangays Caridad, Tinumigues, Zeneben and Pinguaman who were affected by flooding caused by the moderate to heavy rains and localized thunderstorms driven by the trough of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) of the coast of Southern Mindanao. This initiative aims to provide immediate assistance and support to families facing challenges brought about by the recent weather disturbance.

DSWD FO XII, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Lambayong, remains steadfast in its commitment to extending timely aid and ensuring that vulnerable communities receive the necessary support during times of crisis.

LOOK: The team Sultan Kudarat of Peace and Development Buong Bansa Mapayapa (PDBBM) program of DSWD Field Office XII facilitated a Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) orientation in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat recently. Meanwhile Mayor Francis Eric E. Recinto and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Catherine P. Peralta formally signed the agreement after the LGU reviewed its terms.

The DSA aims to ensure the secure and lawful sharing of beneficiary data to speed up the delivery of social services and improve program targeting. Officials also said this is one way to achieve faster assistance, data-driven planning, and stronger partnerships for future peace and development initiatives in the municipality.

National Commission of Senior Citizens Region XII, LGU Lambayong Conduct Distribution of Cash Gift for Octogenarian, Nonagenarian and Centenarian Beneficiaries

Anchored on the spirit of respect and gratitude, and strengthened by strong inter-agency collaboration, the distribution of cash gifts for octogenarian, nonagenarian and centenarian beneficiaries was successfully conducted in the Municipality of Lambayong.

This initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) Region XII, in close partnership with the Local Government Unit of Lambayong led by Mayor Francis Eric E. Recinto, and implemented through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Catherine P. Peralta, RSW OIC-MSWDO and Office of Senior Citizen Affairs headed by Pacita G. Abalos.

The activity forms part of the government’s continuing commitment to recognize the invaluable contributions of our senior citizens, particularly those who have reached the remarkable milestone of 80 to 100 years old. Beyond financial assistance, the program symbolizes honor, appreciation, and respect for their legacy and life stories.

To ease the burden of rising fuel costs among our transport sector. strengthened by strong inter-agency collaboration, the Fuel Subsidy Payout was successfully conducted through the distribution of financial assistance to qualified transport beneficiaries in the Municipality of Lambayong.

This initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII, under the leadership of Regional Director Loreto V. Cabaya Jr., in close partnership with the Local Government Unit of Lambayong led by Mayor Francis Eric E. Recinto, and implemented through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

The activity forms part of the government’s continuing commitment to support drivers and operators affected by fuel price increases, helping them sustain their daily livelihood and operations. March 30, 2026- The Municipality of Lambayong proudly joins the nationwide observance of Women’s Month, embracing the theme β€œLead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas,” which highlights the enduring strength, wisdom, and leadership of women deeply rooted in culture and identity.

The celebration was participated in by the officials and employees of the Local Government Unit of Lambayong, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Francis Eric E. Recinto. The event served as a meaningful platform to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of women in governance, community development, and nation-building.

One of the significant highlights of the program was the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Women’s Council officials, administered by the Municipal Mayor. This moment marked a renewed commitment to uphold the rights, welfare, and empowerment of women, as well as to strengthen their role as active partners in achieving inclusive and sustainable progress within the municipality.
