In line with OPLAN SEMANA SANTA and LAKBAY ALALAY 2023, Lamitan City Fire Station personnelv headed by SFO4 Anthony H Paculdo, OIC-City Fire Marshal, under supervision of SSUPT KADIL T ACALUL, DSC, MPA, Assistant Regional Director for Administration BFP BARMM/ Provincial Fire Marshal Basilan BARMM, deployed EMS personnel and Firetruck visibilities at Monte Santo,Barangay Sengal.

EMS personnel responded and provided medical care on site . Vital signs check and 02 administration via Rebreather mask.Two of the patients regains consciousness while being transported via LCFS ambulance. Brought and endorsed to Lamitan District Hospital for continuity of medical care.

LIGTAS ANG MAY ALAM‼️‼️‼️

Sa panahon ng malakas na pag-ulan at pagbaha, ang BFP- Lamitan City Fire Station,Basilan ay mahigpit na nagpapaalala sa publiko.

Kung nakatira ka sa lugar na may babala ng pagbaha, mabuting maghanda. Narito ang ilang SAFETY TIPS at mga dapat gawin kung may banta ng pagbaha sa inyong lugar;

MGA DAPAT GAWIN O PAGHANDAAN:

1. Alamin ang mga babala na nakataas sa inyong lugar, mga ruta ng paglikas at evacuation centre, na maaring makuha sa local council.
2. Maghanda ng emergency kit kabilang ang torch o flashlight, food supplies, first aid kit, tubig, extrang damit, kumot at mga toiletries. Isama din ang mobile phones, charger at kung may power bank.
Ilagay sa isang sealed bag ang mga mahahalagang dokumento o bagay.
3. Alamin din ang mga bagay na pwede ilagay sa mataas na bahagi ng bahay (kabilang na ang mga basura, chemicals at poison).
4. Patayin ang main power o kuryente at tubig.
5. Kung may sandbag, ipatong ito sa toilet bowl upang maiwasan ang sewage back-flow.

MGA DAPAT GAWIN KUNG MAY PAGBAHA:

1. Paalala na delikado ang maglakad, magmaneho, lumangoy at maglaro sa tubig-baha.
2. Kung talagang kinakailangan na maglakad sa baha, mag-ingat at magsuot ng solid shoes at magdala ng stick para matantya ang lalim ng bawat hahakbangan.
3. Iwasan ang malalim na bahagi at iwasan din ang bumagsak na linya ng kuryente.
Alamin ang mga saradong kalye, ligtas na ruta at pinamalapit na relief centre.
4. Ipaalam din sa kamag-anak, kapitbahay o kaibigan ang mga plano.

MGA DAPAT GAWIN MATAPOS ANG PAGBAHA:

1. Kung kayo ay lumikas, huwag munang bumalik sa bahay habang hindi pa nagaabiso ang otoridad na ligtas na.
2. Huwag din bubukas ang gas, kuryente at appliances hangga’t hindi pa nachecheck ng professional.
3. Magpakulo ng tubig bago ito inumin habang hindi pa inaabiso ng mga awtoridad na ligtas na ang tubig.
4 Kumuha ng mga litrato ng bahay para sa insurance claims.

"Rescue Operation/Flooding"

Lamitan City Fire Station headed by SFO4 Victor S Ramiso,under the supervision of SSUPT KADIL T ACALUL,DSC,BFP,Assistant Regional Director for Administration/Provincial Fire Marshal Basilan.On-duty Operation Personnel together with CDRMMO, LGU QRT, PNP, PCG,53SAC and Barangay Responders joint efforts conducted Rescue Operation to affected families at Riverside,Barangay Matibay. One responding firefighter FO1 Marlon Mahilum sustained minor injury at right knee during the said operation.EMS immediately provided medical treatment.
The flashflood is due to heavy rainfall affecting some parts of Mindanao.

Lamitan City Fire Station personnel led by City Fire Marshal SFO4 Victor S Ramiso, under the supervision of 𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐋 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐋,𝐃𝐒𝐂 Provincial Fire Marshal of BFP BASILAN, conducted Physical Fitness Test ( PFT) held at the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal Isabela City.

The PFT is conduxted semi-annually especially June and December of the year according to age group.Exercises involves sits -ups,push ups and endurance.
