When stories are told through experience, perceptions begin to change. Actress Iza Calzadoโ€™s visit to Lamitan became more than just a journeyโ€”it helped reshape narratives and break the long-standing stigma of our city as a conflict-affected area. Through her presence, Lamitan was seen for what it truly is: a place rich in culture, warm hospitality, breathtaking destinations, and resilient people.

Today, Lamitan continues to inspire a more positive imageโ€”not only across the Philippines but also on the international stage.

Thank you for coming in the City of Colors in harmony! โœจ

The Lamitan City Tourism Team joined the Mid-Year Assessment of the MTITโ€“Industry Development and Investment Promotion (IDIP) Division, with one of the highlights being a visit to Jezreel Farm in Brgy. Look.
The team experienced its refreshing fruit-picking activities firsthand, showcasing the farmโ€™s growing potential as one of Lamitan Cityโ€™s emerging agri-tourism destinations.

More than a place to harvest fresh fruits, Jezreel Farm reflects the promise of sustainable agriculture and countryside tourism. The farm is aiming to becoming a Model Farm for the entire BARMM region that will further strengthen Lamitan City's tourism, agriculture, and local economic growth.
