A day of wellness, joy, and connection.

Today, August 28, 2026, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) along with their parents and caregivers gathered at Embassi Valle Farm and Resort, Ambasa, Lamut, Ifugao for a special Hydrotherapy Activity.

The day was filled with refreshing water exercises, fun games, karaoke, and meaningful socialization. This initiative aimed to boost the physical and emotional well-being of our PWDs while giving their dedicated care partners a well-deserved space to relax and recharge.

This is an initiative of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Lamut LGU.

Empowering our local nutrition champions!

Here's a look back at the recent Maternal Nutrition and Infant and Young Child Feeding (MNIYCF) Training held last August 25-26, 2026, at the MLC, Poblacion West, Lamut, Ifugao.

A total of 18 Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and Barangay Nutrition Action Officer (BNAO) actively participated in this two-day capacity-building activity aimed at strengthening nutrition programs in our communities.

The program commenced with welcome remarks from Municipal Mayor Atty. Mariano B. Buyagawan Jr., represented by Miss Maria Victoria G. Macadaeg, Municipal Administrator.

Attendees gained valuable insights from our expert resource speakers, Ms. Marlei Ynna A. Malingan (PNO staff) and Ms. Rucel D. Yadan (from PDOHO), who shared essential knowledge on maternal health and proper infant feeding practices.

Together, let's build a healthier and well-nourished Lamut!

The livelihood start-up equipment was successfully awarded to the Finadchangan Association in Hapid, Lamut.

This project marks a significant milestone in empowering local farmers with modern tools to enhance their agricultural productivity and income.

As of 2:00 PM today, 20 August 2026, Tropical Depression “NENENG” has weakened into a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Monitoring of Tropical Storm "SAUDEL" continues OUTSIDE the PAR.

Meanwhile, an LPA (08g) has formed inside the Tropical Cyclone Information Domain (TCID) and is now being monitored.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

As of 2:00 PM today, 20 August 2026, Tropical Depression “NENENG” has weakened into a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
