The Department of the Interior and Local Government โ Cordillera Administrative Region (DILG-CAR) commends the 77 local government units (LGUs) across the region that achieved full compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) for four (4) consecutive quarters covering the 2nd to 4th Quarters of Calendar Year (CY) 2024 and the 1st Quarter of CY 2025.
Of the 83 LGUs in the region, six (6) provinces, one (1) city, and seventy (70) municipalities were recorded as fully compliant, posting a compliance rate of 92.77 percent. This achievement demonstrates the LGUsโ strong commitment to accountability, transparency, and good local governance.
The Full Disclosure Policy, as mandated under DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2024-021, requires all LGUs to post key financial documents in accessible and visible spaces, both in their localities and online. Compliance ensures that the public is well-informed of how government funds are managed and spent, fostering trust and citizen participation in governance.
DILG-CAR extends its congratulations to the fully compliant LGUs for serving as models of open governance, and to the field officers and FDP focal persons whose guidance and monitoring have strengthened LGU capacities to adhere to this policy.
The Department likewise reiterates its support to all LGUs in the region as it continues to facilitate validation workshops, technical assistance, and monitoring activities to sustain and further improve compliance with the FDP.
