Here is a video of a Philippine Serpent Eagle that I recorded at the Maputi Bird Preserve. The bird perched on a tree for an extended period—approximately two hours—continuously calling, its powerful voice echoing throughout the forest. During periods of activity by this species, smaller birds in the area often remain hidden, likely out of fear.
The protection of our biodiversity plays a vital role in safeguarding unique species such as this remarkable raptor and many other wildlife forms, particularly our native birds. Let us give glory to the Almighty Creator, who fashioned these marvelous creatures with whom we share and interact in nature.
